rockin the hoofer 2 right now, but think i need an upgrade

havnt played much over the last 2 years, getting addicted to golf again and looking to upgrade my gear, and i think the bag is gonna be the first to go. I'm looking for something light, with a stand, but style is most important!

These are pretty good. Fully loaded, the Nike is on the heavy side. Hoofers are still very good stand bags. There's a certain style in function. If you're looking to stand out, there are plenty of high priced options. (Scotty Cameron, Japanese anything, etc.)

If you want true style, the best style for a golf bag is one you earned with your game, like making your State mid-am or Am team, or for me the Provincial (Saskatchewan) Am or Mid-Am team. I have not earned mine yet though.

I find extremely stilish the two offerings from Iliac Golf, the Scottie in canvas and the Purist in leather. I have last year's Scottie, and it causes a lot of interest! Definetely worth a look

I've been a long-time Ping User, and they're losing me with the current designs. The hoofer 3/Xtreme was the last bag I really loved, the vantage was decent, and now I'm just done unless they go back to the older styles. I have my college bag, and then a near-new black hoofer xtreme, and after that I'll be picking up a MacKenzie Walker just to be done with it...

buy last years model if your looking for a more stylish bag, if you pick up the 2k10 model please post a review. The ogio sherlock is def nice but my black plaid with red syncro colors blow that out of the water. I've seen a burberry staff bag on ebay that was prob the most stylish fashion wise, but the JL white is just above it all, ( I think you have to see one in person to fully appreciate it). It gets more looks on the course than I ever wanted, I don't game it unless I play alone and walk. I wish I could buy another white for when I retire in 20 years but I think they are sold out. I'd give someone a box of penta's or top shelf balls of their choice if they found me another new white JL bag to buy.

Wow, that is really nice. I like the canvas/plaid style bags more than the pure leather ones for a retro type look. Plus the fact that it has modern features and isn't $750.

I'm a fan of Adidas gear so this one appeals to me, would like it better if there wasn't the big "adidas" on the side, and it just had the three stripe, but still a nice stand bag with lots of room.
