Thanks man. I just picked golf back up after not playing for a little over 5 years. Had planned on 710 AP1's, but happened to roll across these on the Bay, and they were what I always wanted before I quit playing. I decided to bite the bullet and get them, and I am very pleased.

That is my Dad's bag. I keep my clubs at the Parent's house instead of my house full of people all the time.

I'll take pictures Sunday and show all our other toys.

Thanks man. Since we have 12 inches of snow I haven't gotten to do a real comparison, but I personally like the Redwood better. I'm going to say its a mental thing and has to do with the fact it's black and I have a thing for black clubs .

The Red C-1 is my Dad's bag. His bag consists of...

 

 

Titleist 907D1 with the regular stock shaft

Adams Idea Pro 20 and 24 degree hybrids with Aldila VS Proto Regulars

Ping i3 O-Size Red Dots 5-U with JZ Cushin Regulars

Nike Black Satin SV Tour 56 and 60 with TTDG S400

And he seems to have the Anser 2 in there right now.

 

 

The Middle Bag is his old Hoofer Mit-E-Lite he uses if he rides a cart or uses a pull cart and has our Titleist DCI 990s with TTDG S300s in it.

 

 

The last bag is my old Hoofer Lite I use when carting with my Adams Redline 3 draw, 585.H 24 degree hybrid with an Aldila NV, my dad's 2009 Launcher, my Hi Bore XL with a Pink Aldila NV, and a stock Adams Redline we play around with.

 

 

The Putters are a Ping I-Series Craz-e, a Karsten Craz-E, a Ping Pal, a Ray Cook Mallet, an Oddysey DFX 2-Ball, a Ping Kushin, an Odyssey XG #9, and a second new Pink NV shaft.

A little bit of an update...

 

Driver Battle: Adams 10.5* 9015d with an Oban Devotion 6 04 Flex and a Ping Rapture v2 9* with a Diamana Whiteboard 73x X-Flex. The 9015d/Oban setup is the longest driver I have ever hit. It plays just under 45" and D2. It punishes me terribly when I miss it though, as my misses are left. The Rapture tends to calm my swing down.

 

FW: Ping G15 17* 4 Wood with an Oban Devotion 7 04 Flex. This just arrived from Ping WRX and from the few balls I put into the cornfield behind the house it shoots long flat bullets.

 

Hybrid: Titleist 585.H 24* with an Aldila NV X. The most versatile club in my bag. I will play this club on anything from Short Par 3s to second shots into a par 5. Normal swing still puts it out farther than a 3 iron, and I'm terrible with long irons as it is.

 

Irons: Titleist 695.CB 4-PW with KBS Tour Stiff. Best irons I have ever played, period. I love the shafts as well. Much better feel than the S300s or Rifle's I have played in the past. These are not going anywhere for a long time.

 

Wedges: Ping Eye2+ Sandwedge and Ping Tour-W 58* with a T-Grind (Not Pictured). Still playing the CG15 for the time being as the Tour-W has not arrived yet. I feel much more comfortable with the Eye2+ Sandwedge over a traditional Gap Wedge as well. It's ton easier out of bunkers, and just makes me feel better about any shot I take with it.

 

Putter: Ping Black Satin Redwood Piper S. Plays at 34". Great putter, and will not leave the bag for a while.

 

 

 

And my ball challenge for the year. I play Srixon AD 333's for most every round because when I play by myself I play 2+ balls at a time if no one is behind me. So far I like the Z-Star X the most. No real reason, just had the best round so far with them.

Will be using it for the first time tomorrow. The Tour i(s) has taken over in the favorite ball category so far this week as well.

Little Update. I played the 695s and a set of I15s last season, and decided to sell them both and get the G15s this year. S59s are just a toy for the year. Machine is new this year, and all I have done is some carpet putting with it. New driver on the way.

Adams Idea Pro 3 and 4 Hybrid with Bassara Hybrid (New shafts on the way)

Ping Tour W Black Nickel 58/08 with a T-Grind. Shafted with KBS Tour Stiff

Machine M2A Convertor 303 Stainless and an Antique Charcoal Finish. Aerotech Steel Fiber Putter shaft made for Machine.

While your entire bag is sweet I am drooling over that Machine. I have owned a fair share of Scotty's, Betttinardi's, Byrons, and Palombi and that putter looks AMAZING! I have considered a Machine on and off for a couple years, and might have to save up for one. Are you playing the 9015d for 2011? I just got one and shafted it with a UST V2 and it is a beauty. I love the open face and the distance it provides. Give us a review on the machine if you get the time in the future!

I sold the 9015D and played a G15 with an Oban Devotion 7 04 before I settled on the Rapture. I've been contemplating getting another 9015D. By far the longest driver I have ever played.

All I've been able to due is carpet putt with the Machine, but it feels great. I wanted something different, that I wouldn't ever see anyone around here with and I think I got it. Still wanting to get a T.P. Mills made, and a Bettinardi. Both are beautiful putters.
