Oakley Asian Fit

Hello

 

I've been looking at getting a pair of Oakley Sunglasses and have a buddy that is offering up his Flak Jacket Asian Fit glasses at a pretty good price. Unfortunately, he is over 200 miles away and I cannot try them on nor do any of the stores around me carry such a style to try out. Just wondering if the Asian fit is truly that much different than the original Oakleys? Here is a link describing the item...

I have a fairly narrow and tall head (I am definitely not Asian!). Think these glasses would work for me or would I be better off just sticking with the original style? Thanks.

Asian fits just sit higher on the bridge of the nose.... I have them and I like them...coming from an Asian type guy....

It's just the rubber nose piece that is a bit taller than standard, other than that it's the exact same glasses... At least that's what an Oakley rep told me.

if you have a narrow face, you might not like them. the asian fit has a larger nosepiece as well as the curvature of the actual frame is a bit flatter (therefore it will fit a bit wider).

Correct, the lens frame is a flatter radius which makes it a better fit for low nose bridge lines. I dont believe the nose pieces are different between the different fit.

I've shied away from Oakleys because they are too narrow and/or sit too close to my face. Gotta stop by the Oakley store now...
