I am hoping to get some feedback from this golfWRX community for a new line of golf shirts. Your feedback will help shape this new product, so the more information you can give - the better.

Thank you in advance!!!

Any info is helpful - namely:

What are your favorite brands of golf shirts

What are your biggest complaints about golf shirts, in general?

How many shirts do you buy per year?

What are you willing to spend on your shirts?

If you could change something about golf shirts - what would it be?

How do you find the fit generally?

What material do you like best?

What colors would you like to see more?

Thanks again!!! I will keep you posted on progress!

Underarmour has a nice shirt line with their stripes and solid colors. Their solid colors come with many different color choices (look at UA's performance polos that are usually priced arounnd $40-45 and youll see all the nice colors) and i love the simplicity of just the logo the chest + with the amazing color.

Puma has nice shirts but i think i like them alot because of their name and their simple 18 hole and puma logo. Perhaps make logo that is interesting but keeping it simple and not too crazy and exotic, that you can put on all your shirts like puma.

What i hate the most is that w/ different companies the shirt's sleeve's length runs different so sometimes the sleeve covers the elbow or past ( which i hate) or it fits on top of the elbow. Depending on what age group your targeting but if you trying to get younger guys keep the sleeve lengths shorter ( like on Mediums please!!!) because it looks better and not so stupid like when it looks like the shirt is wayy too big.

around $40-$50 if it looks pretty decent with a wide variety of colors

Polyester fabric that has plenty of stretch, like UA but not so tight like most Adidas

I'm possibly a little biased because my cousin works for the company, but Peter Millar makes the best shirts out there. While I like some of the styling of the funkier companies as well, the PM shirts are BY FAR the most comfortable and classic in the game. They can go perfectly with a European fit pant and white belt/large buckle combo or with the basic khaki and brown belt.

My favorite shirt is Dunning that my father-in-law got me, Nice feel and cut, will add more in the future.

I also like the TW collect from Nike, little to much $$ for me, but the one I got on sale I like.

What are your favorite brands of golf shirts: Don't have any
What are your biggest complaints about golf shirts, in general? Like others I like the shorter sleeves and cost
How many shirts do you buy per year? I would say around 5
What are you willing to spend on your shirts? I would say $50 is tops, I usually get mine on sale and around $30 is a normal price for me.
If you could change something about golf shirts - what would it be? More options for tall sizes, people like to have them hang in the right position if they don't tuck them in but having a tall size is nice also for us taller people so they don't hang around my belly button.
How do you find the fit generally? generally ok as most of them snug but not tight
What material do you like best? something moisture wicking
What colors would you like to see more? normal solid color and stripes. Maybe something in an argyle pattern that is understated somehow.

I may be in the minority and not who you are gunning for in your questions, but I don't like to spend big bucks on my golf clothing. I think that there is a big hole in the mid priced golf shirts (around $30) Seems like there would be plenty of people picking these up if you could make a good product for this price range. For an example look the the Champion C9 thread.

I have a buddy who was a Fairway&Greene sales rep, so I have quite a few of their shirts, nice shirts, made out of great material, collars don't roll up, nice colors, keep that shiny look after washes, however I'm always tucking them back in. to short in length for me. Recently I bought a couple of Eddie Bauer Dri Fit style golf shirts in tall. I will give them a try but I doubt they will hold up like the F&G's I also have a few Nike Dr Fits as well as some UA's. No more Gear or Ashworth cottons for me.

What are your biggest complaints about golf shirts, in general? The trend to really short sleeves and self-fabric collars
How many shirts do you buy per year? 10 or more
What are you willing to spend on your shirts? $45 max
If you could change something about golf shirts - what would it be? Better collars, not self-fabric, that don't tend to roll up from the ends.
