My bag is set!

My Dream Bridgestone set up!!!

Well Almost! LOL :crazy:

At least the Bridgestone iron set up is my dream set up that i could pretty much play it at any condition courses.

I have 2 sets of blade and cavity from 7 iron through P, only 1 set long iron J33 CB 3 - 6. ( I have no business hitting long iron blade anymore :help: )

Yes! I have to admit that i will try to fill up the driver slot w/ J33 460 10.5* w/ a low spin shaft and of course the new BS wedges too ( 53/54 and 60 ).

Hmm, Yea I will post some more of my Titleist, Mizuno, Callaway and Taylor Made bag set up when i have a chance to work on them and take some pictures. I'll work on them when ever i have a chance. Please don't push me, i'll have a big chance to have a mental breakdown if you guys do.

I'm sure i will get some harassment doing this! LOL! :cheesy: I'm ready on that part! ;) Come on I can take it! :cheesy: :crazy:

Nice set up Joe, of course i don't think you could have a bad set up. You have had me so tempted to try a set of Bridgestones.

 

I will be waiting for the Titleist and Callaway Bag pictures though.

 

Which set are you using the most? Bridgestone? What 3 wood is that?

Joe, you know the dangers of announcing a bag being set! ;) You've practically put a for sale sign on your bag with that statement! C'mon, tell us the truth. The only thing thats set is the Tourstage bag itself! Which just so happens to be the same as mine but in a different color. I know I can honestly say that's the only thing set for me! :crazy:

You need to put a BS/TS driver in there for it to qualify. It looks like maybe 10 out of 14 are BS/TS. Nice but doesn't quite make it a "Bridgestone Bag" unless you were just talking about the bag itself.

I knew some one would say that! ;)

 

Well, to be qualify for a staff players, you need to be at least 9 clubs in the back ( most OEM rules )...So If i play the whole set iron 3 - pw + the 3 wood = That total 9 clubs.

 

However, you are right on driver issue...I would love to get one if i can get head only or w/ the right shaft on it. Plus, I'm 100% sure that I want the new wedges that is coming out, that will make 12 club total... 11 at least if i still couldn't find the driver.

Man, combo set you've made looks better than the actual combo set that Bridgestone have. For some reason I don't quite like the strip of muscle on the 'real' combo's. Anyway, NICE BAG!!!!!!! I love it. I love the actual tourstage bag itself. It looks great.

The problem will be the putter. Outside of the KB for TS putters which were actually very good but had terrible finishes, BS/TS hasn't made a great putter. Above average yes...but RJB,SC,GD, Mills, Slighter quality ....TS I'm still waiting.

Arent the Cavity backs so good I just bought the CB's 3-pw and love them I got rid of the CG2's fast after getting the Bridgestones and I now have a Bridgestone bag with my name on it on the way. Im also trying to find a right shaft to go with The 460 Bridgestone head, but I will have that driver in my bag soon its long!

There are no definite date yet on the new wedges release date. It's being tested now on tour. I will definitely give a sneak peak when i get one in my hand.

 

I don't have enough driving time yet w/ the X drive 435, But i do know that the J33 460 is a low launch and fairly low spin driver...This driver can be a killer w/ the right shaft combo. Price wise is a big factor IMO, X drive is so freaking expensive w/ a stock shaft set up that I can't pin point to the exact flex i need. The beauty buying the J33 460 is that the price are just at the right level and I can spend $$$ on the right shaft and pin point the right tipping to get the right flex and still cheaper than the X drive at the end. These 2 driver has the same technology behind them.

 

However...from the point of view of club junkies like me , X drive 435 is also pretty damn good looking. It's just hard to ignore that the look of that driver is just a must to get.

To me, J33 CB is a perfect design for a forged cavity back iron. The right size, thin top line ( for CB iron ), the right amount of off set, and nice round camber for forgiveness at the right amount of divot depth and size.
