I had some old Proto types .... got rid of them and went with Scratch.

Fast forward a year, and finally found 2 heads of the Proto Type's for sale, bought them, and I've been using them since. I don't know what the man does to em, but he does them very well. I LOVE these wedges. They spin like CRAZY and I don't use em when the greens are really soft. No sense in it because on 3/4 shots it will literally dig a rut spinning back on the green. The only other wedge I've ever seen do that is some of the various MD grooves on Callaway's forged wedges. It's hell on a Pro V1 and various other tour balls when you really want to spin it, but when you need it, it sure is there. LOVE these wedges. Also, I have contacted the chikaradesigns website, and they in fact have some V1 wedge heads or clubs FS, so ... either way, they'll keep coming and it is a great design. I surely would love to see Carl do new work, etc, and I'll be the first .... ok maybe not the first (ATTN: Pitbull808!) but close behind .....
