My Bandon Dunes Video

A recap of my recent trip...

I posted this in the Style forum as well but thought that the locals might enjoy this too.....Here is a video I made of my trip to Bandon Dunes with my Dad this past weekend. This was the most pure golf resort I have ever seen, I was impressed with every aspect of the resort. The lodging was great (Lilly Pond), the food was excellent (the Meatloaf at McKee's is the best ever) and very reasonably priced. I was impressed that they had every chance to gouge you for a extra money but didn't. My caddie, Matt Shueneman, was awesome, he's been there for 4 years and was a caddie at The Dunes Club (Mike Keiser's private course in Michigan) prior to that. The weather was 65 and sunny both days. We played Pacific Dunes on Friday and had a 2-3 club wind and the same conditions for Bandon Dunes on Saturday. This resort is all about one thing...Golf and there is something so refreshing and simple about that. This is only the first of many trips here going forward. I'm so proud to be an Oregonian and showcase the beauty that our state has to offer. Hope you enjoy the video.

Hi option,

Thanks for posting the awesome video! I, like you, am proud to be from Oregon where we have so many great courses to choose from. I have been to Bandon several times now and just watching the video gets me excited to go back soon.

For those of you who haven't played Bandon or are on the fence as to whether its worth the trip or not, its the real deal.

Thanks for sharing! Looks like a fantastic time with your dad. I was there in early April and the weather was nice, but about 15-20 degrees cooler! Really enjoyed #16 on Bandon Dunes - visually an intimidating tee shot!
