Chicago, Ill.- Bob Bettinardi, President of Bettinardi Golf, the “Rolex” of putters that is headquartered in Tinley Park, presented the World Champion Chicago White Sox players, coaching staff and broadcasters with specially crafted commemorative Bettinardi putters that have the Chicago White Sox and the World Championship logos milled right into the club.



World-renowned putter designer Robert J. Bettinardi created only 75 of these commemorative edition clubs in honor of his late father who was a devoted Chicago White Sox fan. Bettinardi sells over 100,000 clubs internationally each year. Players such as Tiger Woods, Jim Furyk and Vijay Singh have secured 38 worldwide victories using putters that Bettinardi has designed.



The Bettinardi name is synonymous with performance, prestige and price. Some of the most beautiful putters in the world, Bettinardi’s putters are best known for their patented One-Piece Technology and Honeycomb Finish, the latter of which is applied vertically by a jeweler’s tool to the face of the putter to assure the flattest possible surface. Bettinardi creates works of art from materials such as “double-aged” stainless steel, black chrome, gold- and copper-plating, and an array of finishes and inserts.



Bettinardi putters are available at state-of-the-art Studio B. They range in price from $200.00 to $800.00. Collectible Bettinardi putters are also available. All fittings by Studio B are by appointment only and generally take one hour. Firstly, I think the limited edition for the Sox is great. I must, however, dispute equating Bettinardi putters with a Rolex, when, in fact they are the Rolls Royce of putters.
