Best and Most Secure Travel Bag/Cover

Wanting some opinions on the best travel bag to transport your clubs via the

airlines. By best I mean the most secure and gives the most protection to

your clubs. Also, any tricks and methods of packing your clubs to minimize

damage. Thanks for all input.

Club Glove Last Bag. Get the stiff arm and if you'd like to go further, wrap a towel around the clubs or use headcovers. Can't really ask for anything more...

Club Glove burst proof or last bag, but if you can't afford them I'd say the Ogio Straight Jacket. The rip stop meterial is awesome. I bought the stiff arm and with that together it's all good. I take some towels and wrap them around the bag itself and interwine a towel around all of the clubs--probably a little more than necessary, but better safe than sorry.

I second the Club Glove! For extra protection use the stiff arm and wrap towels around the club heads to provide extra padding. In addition, that is the only time I use covers on my irons to prevent nicks and dings from the clubs banging against each other.

I have the Taylormade one...quite roomy and very sturdy material...i used to use the Club Glove, but like my TM a lot better!

These guys make bags for the US Military - I have had both a hard cover and the semi - rigid one called a hard top. Very happy with the hard top - its been a quite a few trips and no mishaps.

When the wife (and twins) and I go on holiday, I normally fill it with two 6" stand bags and clubs, 2 x golf shoes, 4 dozen balls and a tonne of nappies.

club glove burstproof w/ wheels...iron headcovers...stiff arm...works pretty well. actually, my stiff arm broke at some point during the second trip I made. the plastic head came off...won't screw back on.

i use the Ogio Straight Jacket as well. i also keep headcovers on and wrap multiple towels around irons/putter. successfully made it around the world (southeast asia) a couple of times.

umm...yeah...I use what works best for ME, and well so far so good on everything!!!

also, there is nothing wrong with brand loyalty. It is my money and my decisions, so I can use whatever I want. If the bag or equipment did not work, I would not be using them. I have respect for TM products, and know that what I am using is quality stuff...just my 2 pennies
