Question about BST Rule #3

The rule states

-Members are allowed one listing, maximum of 10 items, per 30 days of a particular item and one listing per 24 hours (i.e. no listing of an item, selling it, closing the ad and starting a brand new one a few hours later). Seller must combine their Ads and cannot post new Ads unless their previous Ad is Closed or deleted.

 

Am I understanding this rule correctly that I can only list 10 items every 30 days?

I don't think so. It's PER ad. So 10 items in 1 ad, and then after the COMMA it says, [color=#1C2837][b] per 30 days of a [size=5]particular[/size] item. [/b]Hope this clears things up for you, and more importantly I hope I'm right! [/color]

Exactly right. Each item can only appear once in 30 days. You are allowed 10 items in one ad. Always been clear to me.

10 item max (can't be a store)
Each item in the open ad cannot have been listed in another ad within the last 30 days
Must wait 24 hours from closing an ad to open a new one

Ok, so if I list 10 items in one listing and sell 6 of them. Can I put additional items for sale using that same ad as long as I remove the sold items?

Yes, you can always add on to your original ad, but you can't start a new ad with the old stuff and the new, just add to the older post.

You keep on overanalyzing this rule. Golfnut5438 and I have done quite a few transactions on here, and I've never gotten anything about 10 items a month. The Mods will be here soon, be patient, as I'm sure they're very busy.

What is there left to say? Your fellow members have done an excellent job of helping you here.

 

A few general rules but many interpret them differently. Funny how that happens. We do recommend the KISS approach though.

 

p.s. The idea isn't to bust guys chops for rules infractions...It's to level the playing field for "All" the members.
