THIEF ALERT ON GOLFWRX... ITS OFFICIAL I GOT SCAMMED

UPDATE: CLUBS IN MOTION AKA THEIF, SCAMMER, DIRTBAG

This is a follow up for all the guys that tried to help me out in my saga to get justcie from clubs in motion here on golfwrx. If you arent familiar with the whole mess you can get the history by reading the thread "ripped of by a fellow golfwrx'er" here on the deal or no deal forum.
As you all may know I filed a claim through Paypal for non delivery of an item. I just received notice that I won the claim against clubs in motion.. however the kicker is that this clown doesnt have enough money in his account to give me a full refund so I am $hit outta luck unless he decides to put the rest of the money in to get to my purchase price of $180. Let this be a lesson also that any security you feel using payapal is a bunch of BS, as the only way you get a refund is if the seller decides to give it back to you. This a-hole obviously sucked out the money before the claim was even filed knowing full well he had no intention of delivering my club and the only way he could scam me was to take the dough out right after I paid. THIS IS A WARNING TO ALL MEMBERS: Stay away from clubs in motion or any screen name that refers back to his paypal acct or name.

I would hope that this enough for this scammer to be banned from this forum, by screen name and IP address. I am also looking for advice on how I handle this now... do I contact my local police, his local police, or someone else to chase this thing down or do I file a claim in my local court or his? If anyone lives near this jerk let me know maybe you can swing by and pick up my $$$. It really stinks that a golfwrx'er needs to steal from another member to make money. I go to Myrtle Beach several times a year so eventually I will make a road trip up there next time I am in Myrtle to visit my friend (next visit is soon but I dont want to tip him off just in case he has the spine to read this post). Oh well I want to thank all the members for their advice and support through out this whole mess but evil wins out over good here!!!!

You can go to http://www.ic3.gov and file an internet fraud complaint against him, so save all your e-mails and proof of purchase.

 

I'm sure when he gets a call from the FBI his tune will change a tad :yahoo:

You can call the local police in his town, if that's his real name and address. You can contact the FBI's internet fraud division, but its unlikely they'll do anything about a $180 fraud (they have bigger fish to fry).

 

Best thing to do is to track him down like a rabbid dog and beat him in front of his kids. Then take his mom out to a nice steak dinner and never call her back. (Disclaimer: Not intended to be taken as good advice)

No, the FBI will investigate most things over $100 because they start to look to see who else he's done it to.

BELIEVE ME. If he doesnt have enough money is his account, they take it out of his bank account, it even says that on the dispute page. Give it a week or so because they have to go through a long process to withdraw from his account, but in the fine print that he agreed to, they have a right to do so.

I'd love to beleive that Flam, but I had another dispute I won back in April and am still waiting for the money because the guy didnt have enough funds in his Paypal account. You would think that with all the fees that they collect would get you better customer service. But, I suppose when youre the only game in town customer satisfaction isnt really that important.

I saw we just break his knees. This name sounds familiar for some reason. Now I have to go check my ebay and see if I have ever used him. I know one time an ebay buyer filed a complaint against me.(the guy expected to recieve his 60 lb item in 2 days when I said it was being shipped parcel post to hawaii and he only wanted to pay 12 dollars shipping). Paypal took the money from my bank account to pay him back. A week later, he recieved the item, and I got my money back. Call paypal and keep asking to speak to that persons boss. I will never dealwith anyone below a Manager position or the Shift Supervisor. They are the ones who get the stuff done. File a complaint with his local police department and fraud division. You need to stop him, before he can do it to somebody else.

dude sux that you got scammed. i had a situation happen to me from a fellow member here a while back. i will not mention names (not the scumbag involved in this thread), but i bought two wedges, box comes from fedex, open the SEALED box and there's one wedge inside. I pm the guy and he starts accusing me right off the bat of wrong doing.

 

one of two things, guy never shipped the other wedge, or #2, fedex took the time to open the box, take the wedge, and then retape the box.

 

all in all, seller kept communicating, refunded my money, as he filed a claim with the carrier.

 

just one of the cons when purchasing and selling via internet i guess.
