Aloha, new guy here

Hey,

So I've lived here for 2 years and played about 15 times. I just started playing frequently a few momnths ago. Sometimes I break 100 (at hawaii country club) most of the time I'm around 105 or so but should be dropping soon. I need a ton of advice and a lesson or three and I'll be happy. I'd love to make that meeting at Aloha Golf Center but I work Saturdays till 7 (let me know if any of you guys need a good bed! ) and sunday-monday I'm surprising my girlfriend and sneaking off to turtle bay for 2 days. No golf though :) I usually play Mondays with a good patient rfiend of mine who is like a 4 hdcp. Just wanted to say hello and I'm finally a member after trying to validate a few different times..

Welcome. You can always call Joey at AGC to see if he can set up a lesson at a time other than their normal hours.

Thanks, Im sick of all the other golf forums with damn near noone from hawaii on em. How come when I show up to play it seems like every other person on the islands playing too? hahaha.

I looked around online for a few teachers and I can't say I wanted to visit any of them until I saw AGC. I need cool people to help me. I moved here for aloha and I got a good feel from their site and what I've been reading about them.
Thing is I'm really working on my swing.. (blindly, by myself) I dont really have "a swing" should I still take a lesson? I think I may need some lie adjustments too. and I definitely need a wedge or two bent.
