Ping C-1 vs. ???

Getting tired of my clubs getting stuck!!

Anyone switch from the C-1 to something else because you got tired of your clubs getting all tangled?

I love Ping bags, I've used them my whole life.. I've never been able to switch to another brand.. but I'm getting really tired of my clubs getting all tangled.

I switched to the Laditude V2 from my C1 and could not be any happier. Its a little bit larger and heavier but not by much. My clubs dont get tangled unless I am carrying like 16 clubs for a range session

Did either of you ever consider the Titleist Light Weight bag? Any opinions on that one?

Yes, I just switched from a C-1 for that exact reason. Currently trying a 2011 Titleist 14 way. Same as the Sun Mountain Four 5.

I have Iomic grips too which makes it even worse.. I just love the way the Ping bags look.. how are you liking the new bag so far?

I am with you on the looks of the Ping bags. I like the new Titelist/Sun Mountains very much. Only the 2011 models due to the cart friendly base. I do not ride much but rode today and the bag fit in the cart perfectly. 14 way dividers work well, excellent stand mechanism. Much better than the pings in my opinion. I'm with you in that I've used Ping bags my entire life but just got annoyed with my sticks always getting tangled. Is there anything worse than missing a green with a wedge and then getting rejected by your bag when trying to shove your club back in?

I went with an Adidas AG Tour stand bag (black version from last year). There is more than enough room now and although a bit heavy, definitely fine for walking. Perfect stand bag if you ride quite a bit and seems to be really good quality. If brutally hot or walking 36 on a particular day, I still use an old L8+.

I used to swear by Ping bags but I've since come to the realization that no matter you have, the clubs get tangled eventually. I just use which matches the clubs . Luckily, Titleist is better than most. Having said that, the new fourteen way divider carry bag looks pretty sweet...

Not the lightest, but if you want tangle free then this is probably the way to go.

Pretty good. Mine stands nice and upright and has a leg lock to stop them coming out.

night and day

was tired of tangled clubs etc..

except i loved the pockets on the PING and they are whatever on the SM

Fits great on a cart as the stand mech doesn't protrude from the base. Stands upright no problem.

Only negative of the bag is the heft and fact that the strap is awkward when just trying to throw one strap over your shoulder. Other than that, perfect for someone who rides half the time.

I picked up a PING Latitude V2 earlier this season. It has dividers which keeps clubs from getting tangled. Very happy with it.

go with a sun mountain 4.5 if you ride or the 3.5 if you walk a lot. I love my 3.5, I'm never going back to ping or ogio again.
