I've got a set of MacGregor 1025CM's that you can have cheap. It's a combo set, 7-PW blades, 3-6 cavity. Factory TFR 6.0. Great feeling clubs.

Boys - Went to Strictly Golf today- thanks for the tip! Pretty Cool place! although I had my doubts walking in until I took a Left! Any of ya'll seen those Cally Proto wedges? weird shape there! Do ya'll let them work on your clubs?

Anyone have a set of CB's with very little offset they want to possibly get rid of? Not necessarily looking for brand new, but I don't want anything you dragged behind the car, either. Yes, folks, I'm actually starting to hunt for a different set of irons for the first time in 5 years :cheesy: (ironically, the epoxy is curing on the "new" shafts I just put in), and no, my stellar performance yesterday had nothing to do with any of this. I've had the TC's for three weeks, but I didn't want to change my sticks with very little chance to get used to them before the qualifier - maybe I should have :fool: . Assuming I like these TC's, heads only would be a plus.

I've always thought that Pings had too much offset, especially in the shorter irons. The S59 and new S58 I like, but I want something a little more forgiving.

I liked the Combos, I just hoed them away. Sam still hits the long irons along with his KZG short irons. I didn't like the PX shafts I had in them, I think if I had some DG in them I'd like them a lot better.

Rick, I wish I still had my 735.CM's. I liked midsized head and reduced offset. The chrome is beautiful too.

Agree on 735.CMs....I have not owned my last set of those. Definately more forgiving than they look.

 

Rick, the 695.CBs are strong lofted...like 2 degrees, so you'll be almost a club longer with them.

I play weaker lofts right now (50* PW), so I could instantly get a club and a half longer. :cheesy:

Guess what guys? Yesterday in that torrential downpour, my Jan Craig's got wet. All of a sudden, I smell this horrid stench coming from somewhere...I thought maybe I sh*t in my pants or something.... :cheesy:

Kiran and I are playing Timber Creek tomorrow at 3:00 if anyone wants to join us. My brother works until 5 and will be meeting up with us after he gets off. They do not allow 5 somes on the weekends, so we only have one slot open since he'll be joining us after 9 holes. Also, I can't guarantee that it will be comped, but he will most likely get us a good deal at the very least.

 

We're shooting to be there around 2:15 or so.
