27* degree hybrid/utility

any good ones out there? any advice? I have searched but cannot find em. I play a 19* and a 23* Sonartec MD and LOVE them and was looking for a 27* to take the place of my 5 iron. I did find that I could get a KZG (std is 26* but apparently you can move the +/- 1*). Any insight is greatly appreciated. Just for reference I play off of an 8HC and driver swing speed is 105 mph. These hybrids are just so easy to hit and I would love to find one:) Oh yeah, I have the UST I rod in stiff in my MD's but was thinking maybe TT DG SL in the 27* hybrid. I have TT DG S300 in my irons. Thank you all!

Probably the best one out there would be the ben hogan cft ti hybrid. it comes in 27* degrees. not sure on shafts though.

Best I've found is the Nakashima NX-1 28° - you can ask to have it picked at 27°. Mine is on MCC HB-T, but you could just use whatever's in your irons - takes .370 and is very slick at setup and flies high. Very expensive unless you have a wholesale account (I do). Even at wholesale they're kinda steep, but worth it...

Although a little different style, Tom Wishon has a new line of hybrids out that hit extremely well called the 785's that go past that loft and higher. I'm getting ready to test a 21 degree head when I decide on a shaft.

Yes, stick with the Md 25 and have it bent to 27. You can also adjust the Md for loft and lie up to 2 degrees. You could also shorten the shaft by .25 inches - you can have your club guy put some tungsten powder in the epoxy to get the swingweight up.

I had Chip Usher make a 26 Md for me with the IRod shaft - great club and accurate. He also has great pricing.
