I can honestly say that I was about to the point of not EVER finding anything that could knock my original Exotics with Graman Limey shaft out of my bag.....until this club. Just the standard RIP shaft, for me, was perfect. Complete perfect driver. Super hot face, forgiving, workable and extremely low spin.

I couldn't believe how far I was hitting it into a 10-15 mph headwind. I played Kiva Dunes and both Craft Farms courses in Gulf Shores this week. My Exotics is officially retired. If I can hit it a 270 straight as an arrow, I'll take that all day long.

Viva 9064LS!!

What is your swing speed and what loft did you get?

I ended up selling mine after about a month of trying to make it work. For me, the shaft head combo never came to life and seemed to feel dead and unresponsive. I had the RIP Alpha in stiff along with a 9.5* head and it just didn't fit.

All my other driver shafts are X flex and seem to perform well as far as distance and ball flight.

I must say though, that I had some of the longest misses with this combo than any other I've hit!!

I know this is the "LS" thread, but wanted to post an update on the 9064 head.

I've got 3, 2 5.5*LDs and an 8.5*LS. I love them all, but a few days ago, I flat spotted one of my LDs. These are supposed to have some kind of reinforcement? Hmm. Doubtful. Stronger welds, maybe. Not a stronger face. Not a chance. My LS has far more hits on it and seems to be holding up just fine. My LD had less than 20 hits on it and folded like an origami specialist.

I'm still a big fan of the heads, but just a little bummed that an LD head couldn't handle a mid-winter swing with a ton of rust on it.

I actually sent in a head for a member this year that cracked the face up through the crown. Adams sent out a brand new club. If you have an opportunity to do so have someone at a facility with an acct send it back for you. In my experience the manufactures are more receptive and willing to help you if they know you have a larger quantity of business with them. They probably know that it can make an impact with their business big or small.

In my opinion your comment about having someone send in a defective club is so very important. I had a defective Taylor Made head and I took it into a local shop that I didn't buy it in and was told by the staff at that shop that Taylor Made called them back about the club. Apparently there was a question on whether the warranty, which was two years from the date of purchase, had run out or not. The shop I took it to responded back to TM that I was a good customer of the shop and the replacement club was shipped.

If the shop had not gone to bat for me I think I would have been stiffed on a warranty that should have been honored. The reality is that TM was more interested in keeping the shop happy then they were keeping me happy. Simple. Dollars and volume talk. Sad but Simple.

I agree. I bought the club from Will so I know it's quality. After it failed, I called Adams to see if anything can be done. Because it is an LD club, they passed responsibility onto Sellinger's. I then called them and was told that even IF I had purchased it from them, getting it covered would be reviewed on a case by case basis. So in the end, neither Adams nor the LDA covered the head. It does make a handsome paperweight, though.

This driver is the real deal with a GD DI6 in it. High launch with super low spin. That equals uncharted distances for me. On average I have picked up 20 yards

I wonder how the FAST12LS wold be with this shaft!

Got fitted with this head 9.5 degree and rt technologies zues lt stiff shaft tipped one inch. A scratch friend of mine that i play with often seems to feel the ball has no business going as far as it does. Tons of pop and low spin. I can play from the tips and still have a 6 iron at most going into the green on long par 4s. And playing from the up tees its driver wedge on par fours and going for it in two on all par 5s. Totally changed my game. If my short game improves alot i could break 80.

This is by far the best driver I have ever hit. I have it paired with a diamana BB 63g. I have averaged about 68% of my fairways this season, and my distance has been about 265 average with it (not a big hitter). This has the forgiveness of a square head in a smaller shape. Also was longer than any of the new drivers out there now (case can be made for the nike VRS though).

[size=5][i]I have hit many drivers and nothing could knock out my old faithful Cleveland Launcher 460 out of the bag. Until I received this driver. I took a chance based on everyone elses reviews. Most people said that the head of this driver was great but many people did not like the stock RIP shaft. I found that the RIP 60X was perfect for me. My swing speed is best at about 114 and my launch angle was right where I wanted it to be. Finally a new driver to stay in the bag. Look forward to hitting it all season long. Great looking driver at address if you like the conventional head shape.
