So I can't order a T-shirt without joining club Cameron?
All t-shirts are sold out. Only clothing left is the polo shirt.
Anyone have a white tshirt in large or x-large they want to sell me?

I think its a great deal. For people that flip the things they buy, they can make their money back quick. The headcovers alone go for 75+. You also get to buy some of the releases. This last Hula was not my type though, passed on it all. Oh well, everything cant be perfect.

The days of flipping are dead. The last profitable release was the cinco de mayo release the other releases have lead to losses for flippers. There are to many people trying to sell the covers and too few trying to buy them.

Not entirely true, much harder than 2-3-4 years ago though. We made some profit on a few of the covers last year. All of the $72 covers I sold for $90 or more. Most of the $116 covers you will take loses on though. I sold the cover with the blue square (name escapes me right now) for double what I paid.

The TCC cover and the Ryder Cup USA cover last fall was the last profitable ones. I've been able to at least make my money back on most. I buy them to try and get an elusive 1/10 or 1/1 but I'm almost certain now that those to go high sales volume accounts. Last time someone on eBay had both a 1/1 and a 1/10 days after the release, the covers are supposed to be 1 per member. I think account can get up to 3 maybe? Someone else might know that, but still, to get the 1/1 and the 1/10 when you can only order a few is astronomical and therefore suspect!

The Junk Yard Dog 1/500 covers was a very profitable release for me at least, I made a fortune on all of them. The covers are getting worse and worse and the same items are just remade. I cant see myself using a PINK clip on pivot tool when I am playing with my buddies.

The resale market for HCs has been down for most of 2010 so flipping overall was less profitable than in the past. That being said, certain releases still command a premium like the '10 Vegas cover as mentioned above. A lot depends on the number available i.e. 1/2010, 1/1000, 1/500, 1/100, etc.

Of the covers I purchased from the studio store in 2010, I sold the St. Paty's Day locally for cost, scored a 1/100 topless Mermaid and sold it for a hefty profit, lost a few bucks on the British Open cover, holding on to the Vegas, and can't get rid of the Halloween without losing a good chunk. Best deal I made was purchasing an '09 1/100 topless Vegas for cheap and selling on ebay for a very nice margin.

Flipping in and of itself kind of sucks. Buying and selling to fund other purchases is just good business ;)

This cover was awful. And the server issues on release day at scotty cameron are just rediculus. I was trying to order yesterday and was having zip code issues and then the server crashed. Plus the amount of time you have to wait to get your merchandise is also a joke. I love sc stuff and have a ton of it but the issues over there need to be fixed. Also, I agree with the point about the specials. Some people get multiple special covers and i have thought for a while something was up. That isnt just sour grapes as im sure some people will disagree and say im just angry i havent gotten one ive talked about this with other cameron members and i think this idea is gaining more steam with the membership. Also, you can only get one cover with your club cameron account. People who get more than one more than likely have multiple club cameron memberships. Anyways, there is a nice negative topic to start the day with, im going to go shovel!

I agree this was not a good cover. For the first time in a LONG time I passed on everything. Whoever buys a cash cover for $156 is out of their mind and how many divot tools can one have? I think this started to go downhill when he was pushing Jackpot Johnny and then moved into women's handbags.

On a brighter note, I loved the new Vokey hat and shirt that were released on Wednesday. Cool stuff and a lot less hurt on the wallet.
