Thanks for clearing that up Qegurezi. I've seen on the Titleist shaft chart that the Fubuki Tour is a mid-high launch with mid spin. I guess that is a more accurate indication of the Fubuki Tour. Does the Alpha spin less and launch lower than the Tour?

A pleasure mate. The alpha does launch and spin a bit lower. Feels a fair bit tighter too.

I demo'd both the Alpha and the Tour Fubuki on Trackman. Had much greater success with the alpha. I love the way this shaft feels and my misses are much closer to the fairway than my previous Aldila shaft. They say the K series is a slightly lower launch with less spin. I wanted desperately to try the k series, but couldn't get my hands on one.

my fi-iq tour came stock with the 63 and oh my goodness this shaft is amazing, it has the best feel and performance of any shaft I ever tried.

Question for you current/previous fubuki k shaft owners. I just received mine from a seller on ebay. Everything appears legit and the range session seems to agree with that as well but one thing I noticed raised my curiosity if it is legit or not. Have any of you noticed that the graphics (ninja stars, fubuki name, shaft weight, etc) on the shaft are ever so slightly raised from the rest of the shaft? For instance, if you run your finger across the ninja stars, fubuki name, etc you can feel it. Think of putting a sticker on and running your finger across it. You would feel the edge of the sticker. Now, it's nowhere near that extreme but you get the concept. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

Yeah i can feel the stars and branding below. The start of the black tho is barely possible to ascertain. Stars deffo.

The fubuki tour 73 is a great fairway wood shaft! I would avoid it in a driver unless you are a low ball hitter.

It's a fubuki k 70 x in a R11. any experiences with it?

I had a Fubuki K 60X in a Razr Fit and didn't care for the feel at all. It just doesn't fit my swing..

alright fellow wrxers.....have another quesstion for you. just finished my first 9 hole session with the fubuki k in my R11. ball flight and feel were good but it sounds like im hitting a rock flight every time. what gives? is that normal?

Anyone know where I could fine a Fubuki K80x? I have the K70x in my driver and I love it and I want to put it in my new Callaway 14.5 3 deep. TIA

I've just put the X-flex version of this in my RBZ 9 degree head - all I have to say is "wow this thing is a weapon"!!!

Fubuki A feels better to me, but the K 70x is a monster in my Razr Fit 8,5, I've gone down -1 to 7,5 & this is the longest driver combo I've ever had. I see lots of people saying that It is a low launch shaft, I don't see that. For me the alpha launches lower than the K, I have them both in 70x, in fact I have the tour 63x, A70x & K 70x. I love them all & struggle to decide between them all, but on Flight scope, nothing touches the K 70x, with 8 out of 10 carrying 280 - 290 & rolling to 311 - 318! The other two averaged 301 total, but the feel of the alpha just cannot be beaten.

I have a Mitsu Fubu in a Mizuno 630 that was designed for Miz by Mitsu.
It is 64g and S flex and launches low/mid. I don't think I have ever hit one way up.
It's a solid feeling launcher and very stable/consistent, tight dispersion.
I think I will buy a Titleist adapter and test it out in my 915 D3.
Head weights will be the largest issue to balance out.

I found the 63x to play a little soft. I'm a ~110ss and tipped 1", it came in at 245 CPM (44.5") or ~6.0.
