issues?

Just got one today and it seems the clubs are a pain to get in and out. Not sure if this has been covered but is this a common issue? I like the rest of the bag :) The White/Red/Black Lightweight bag for 2011 is a great looking bag but there's no place for a putter in the top compartment.

I just got one also. Haven't really noticed that, how many clubs are you putting in each section ?

Four in the bottom (9,PW,54,60), 6 in the next row up (3-8), two then driver and putter up top

You have 7 sections right ? I have 2 clubs per section. I can see once you add 3+ per section there would be problems, but I think you are going to have that with any bag.

You have 7 sections right ? I have 2 clubs per section. I can see once you add 3+ per section there would be problems, but I think you are going to have that with any bag.

Ya seven sections. My old Ping Hoofer is four so I'm used to that in my carry and six in my staff bag. I'll try the two per and see how that works.

The newer one with the CFB bottom or a 2010 model? I only as because looking at the 2011 version with the "Cart Friendly Bottom" - SM basically created a wedge at the bottom of the bag to make room for the leg actuator...similar to Nike, etc. I don't particularly care for this design, as it typically kicks your wedge shafts back into the middle of the bag with the middle section clubs, which jumbles them all up making removal and replacement more difficult. I much prefer the "old' 2010 version with the flat base. It doesn't fit on the cart as well, but it does fit you just have to put a little pressure on it. Anyway might not be the issue you are seeing, but I figured I throw it out there.

Also on the premium it has a putterwell as part of the 7, yes? SO basically you still have 6 way divider set up with additional putterwell. At least that's they way I always looked at it...but the other way may work better try it and see...

EDIT - maybe that top section is not really a putterwell?

There really isn't a putter well although it fits really nice in the larger spot by the handle. Have it in there along with my driver. I am coming from an old nike bag which the clubs were always tangled up so this is a night and day difference.

I have no issues with mine. I put driver, 3 wood, and hybrid up top and the putter in the slot directly below it by itself so it almost looks up top. Then 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, P-G, S-L, in the other slots...works great.
