I hit this at Dick's today, so no numbers. What I will say is that this club [b]feels[/b] better than anything that I have ever hit. Whether the numbers agree with that, I don't know but wow. I am used to very heavy clubs, heavy shafts, ect....

This thing weighs less than my 5 hybrid. You can really bring it around. The shaft that is in it, the MIYAZAKI C.KUA, is extremely stable for what it is. Trajectory, for me, was on par with the norm. I'd expect 14-15 degrees. It needs to be teed farther forward in my stance than normal, but that is my only change in swing.

The shaft felt GOOD. Really really good. I saw "ultra light" and figured that it would have been a noodle. With a ~120 mph swing, I figured that I would have made that club cry. It held up. It did not balloon. The face, I cannot comment on. It felt good, but Dick's only has a net that is 50 feet away. I couldn't really see anything in regards to workability or dispersion.

Overall, if I had to pick up a new driver today, I'd grab this one.

I understand this is the "Tour Edition" of the Cleveland line (TL meaning Tour Light), but what I'm wondering is if this is like other "Tour" drivers with a slightly open face? My Callaway Diablo Edge Tour Edition has a 2 degree open face on it and I'm trying to fight a fade with it. I didn't read anywhere on Clevelands page about the face being open at all, but just being super light with tour like" precision-players added workability".


Anyone have any insight into this?

I recently purchased this driver for $59 at Golfsmith. This driver is amazing. The Miyazaki shaft is very stable and has nice kick. The only problem is that it launches little high for me. I tend to use low launching/low spin shaft but over all, its great combo. Also, the head is light so its much easier to control. I like this driver so much, I bought another used TL310 and installed, Aldila Phenom NL shaft. Lastly, this driver replaced my other drivers which were TM R1 and R11S which I sold. This driver will be in my bag for a while. I love the 440cc head.

I put a Miyazaki Kusala Black 61s in my Launcher TL-310...Better performance and looks than the stock gold C. Kua shaft. I also own the Classic 310 which came stock with the Kusala Black 61.

Fact is that the Launcher TL-310 is the very same Tour inspired head as the Cleveland Classic 310 Tour. The latter came stock with the premium Kusala black 61 shaft.

If you prefer gloss black/silver over the persimmon look/gold cosmetics of the Classic 310 Driver, then you will like the look of the Launcher TL-310 better. If you don't care about the difference in the cosmetics, then go with the Classic 310 just to get the premium stock Kusala Black 61 shaft. It definitely has a better feel and better performance than the C.Kua. (The C.Kua was the stock shaft in the less expensive Classic 290 model, but the C.Kua in the 290 had different shaft graphics than the gold one on the Launcher)

This driver is also 2 degrees open. Most of the tour player drivers have open faces. It's definitely a fade-prone driver. You can adjust by using a stronger grip though.
