Those who have them seem to love them, and they do offer a very comprehensive fitting.

The only negative I have heard is the low resale value.

That's true on some of the woods but the Forged iron line and the Gemini driver resale is pretty decent.

Not in the areas I visit. Zero resale. Your beter off buying Mizunos for the same amount of money.

I play the CB III Forged. These are awesome and very great performers. They displaced my beloved Cleveland CG4s. I've owned 3 sets before these and they always found good homes. The last set I had were taken from me after a round of golf and my neighbor hasn't stopped raving about them.

great clubs, I have played several sets over the years. the clubs are great, as good as oems, but the company is very hard to deal with. the ladies that own the company aren't very nice, I think they were lawyers before, anyway really tough to deal with, even after you pay for the minimums. We quit carrying them.

Infact, kzg used to make some of the oem clubs, i think maybe it was those orlimar woods, I don't remember. I assume that oems dropped them after talking to the owners, they really are that bad.

Well, I have actually spoken to Jennifer King on many occasions. She can be a bulldog. She and her daughter are lawyers. They're protecting their small (and pretty effective) company from the big OEMs. And in some cases the USGA (remember the Gemini Dual Faced Driver Saga?) Their stuff works extremely well. They are nice people, but protective over their product. No different than Callaway or anyone else. My clubmaker has an excellent relationship with them, and they do a BUNCH of support to the military in the San Diego/29 Palms area. They will always get my vote of confidence, even if they didn't have great clubs.

I have used my set of original KZG Forged Blades on and off for close to a decade. I am very serious when I say I love this set as much as any clubs I have ever owned. They feel just like Mizunos to me and are very good looking clubs.

I admit they are a tad on the pricey side but if you are getting a set chances are they are custom fit from a well qualified builder, so you should not let price deter you when you factor that in. I also hear people talk about low resale. I realize that most of us are club ho's but if we really want to get better we have to buy a good custom set like this with the thinking that we will have them for year. I just think if you buy a club and are worried about resale then you have lost he battle as soon as you walk out the store. It's the same thing with my Slighter Putter, someone the other day asked me how I will ever sell it with my name on the bumpers and initials on the face. I told them I did not go to the trouble of a 100% custom club to turn around and sell it, this one is a keeper.

I had a set of KZG ZO's blueprinted for me this year. Beautiful set of clubs. They have a similar look to the CG1's. The feel is easily the same or better than Mizzy. The heads are a little larger than a traditional blade. The weight of the heads are perfect. (well for me anyhow). My ballflight is mid to high and usually stops pretty quickly. As with any forged blade, good ball striking is required however, my misshits I don't find are overly punishing in either distance or feel. This may be due to the slight increase in head size. Obviously, getting any set of clubs custom fit will produce better results but for the money KZG is a no brainer if your in the market for a forged blade. In my neck of the woods, a fitted set of KZG is atleast $500 bucks cheaper than fitted Mizuno's and the qualty is equal. If name brand and resale is important to you, of course go with OEM. I plan on playing these irons till they wear out which I predict will be the 7-10 year range and by that time I don't care what clubs you own, resale will be crap regardless. I hope you find the perfect set for you. Take care.

tbowles, How do you like your G-force?

The GForce is a pretty good club. Mine is configured for a high draw, I'm actually waiting for the Gemini II. October! I may be convinced to part with it.... :help:
