Bag Necessities

What should you have...

Besides clubs, balls, glove, tees, divot tools, what are the necessities to have a well stocked bag. Just curious....and a bit bored this AM.

I carry the following items, besides the stuff you listed....

sunscreen in summer
raingloves
extra Stinger spike
extra shoelace
ball markers
notepad
extra sharpie
sunglasses

Rain suit
Wind shirt
spike tool and extra spikes
spare batteries for GPS
bottle of Ibuprofen
small first aid kit
bug spray

club brush to clean the grooves
beer or other beverage like gatorade if I'm not drinking alcohol to avoid paying high $$
snacks like granola bars

along with things listed above, cigar cutter and lighter........and maybe some beef jerkey

I've found that having some self sticking athletic tape is good. I can put it on fingers if I'm getting a blister, or already have one..

Must have sunglasses, and chapstick and a bottle of excedrin.. and I always keep a water proof windbreaker, just in case.

Beyond that, I think everything else is just extras. Everything else you can improvise with..

I've got the following items:

Cottonelle moist wipes. Never know when the urge might hit and just how close you'll be to a bathroom and a package of these are smaller than a roll of tp!
bandaids
sunscreen
rain gear (pants, pullover, gloves, and umbrella)
extra spikes and a wrench

eye drops/contact solution
lip balm
sun screen
jacket/sweater
rain gloves
sharpie
sunglasses

+1 the most important item other then clubs/balls ect in the bag. Id rather play in the rain with no rain gear then with one contact missing

+2 no depth perception at all with only 1 contact

winter hat
hand warmers
flask of whisky

41* right now in Se Minnesota w/ 30 MPH winds.... I tee-off in 55 minutes.

I will be throwing on the cart cover and firing-up the propane heater....

I've never even thought of that. There is no way I could play with a missing contact.

Problem for me would be that I leave my clubs in my trunk and the heat (while not good for the clubs) definitely can't be good for contacts.
