Ping G5 Driver ... What shafts would you recommend?

Looking to buy a Ping G5 10.5. I need a shaft with medium/high launch with very tight dispersion. Driver swingspeed 95-100 mph. 7 iron 155 yards and relatively smooth tempo. What shafts have you tried that you would recommend?

The above fellow whores are spot on. This club is just silly with a Pro Launch. My swing specs very close to yours, this will be a nice combo for you. I did trim just under an inch off this driver as Pings run 45.75". Awesome combo.

hate to spoil the G5 and prolaunch pimp combos.. actually I have relative success with Aldila NV stiff but on a 9 degree and stripe it a lot, its a fairway finding machine accurate and long.. I have it at 45.5 inches

Are you all recommending the pro launch in Stiff or Regular Flex? What about the Proforce V2, again, Stiff or Regular flex?

I have the same swing specs you dod, and I played with the NV 65 R flex all summer, but I just changed the shaft to the new Fuji Fit On 160 and I love it. It is truly awesome. Incredible feel. High launch - mid / low kick - it carries the balls about 15 yds further than any shaft I tried.

 

I did not like the Pro Launch shaft (it makes me want to puke ) - it is a very soft tipped shaft and it pops the ball up too high for me. I also had problems in hooking it allot.

 

I like that Fit On shaft allot.

At the PING fitting, they recommended I go from the Graffalloy stiff to the TFC 100, both in stiff. I carried the TFC 100 to about the spot the lower trajectory Graffalloy rolled to...so I ended up with the TFC 100, and was happy.

 

Traded it for a Rapture in the same face angle but with the 909 shaft. So far, I really like it.

ProLaunch Blue works flawlessly with G5 head in my case. I trimmed off .75" from R flex to have 45" that is closer to stiff. I also put some lead powders to compensate the loss of swingweight caused by trimming. As a result, mine is ProLaunch Stiff / 45" / D2 and it launches like a Patriot Missile.

V2 65 (stiff, or tipped regular) should be perfect for 95mph, but that is one he** of a 7 iron you are hitting for a 95mph speed.

How is the spin rate on the V2?

 

I have the TFC 100 (stiff) and I get maybe 3 yds of roll. I get great carry (approx 280), but I NEED some roll!! I have good swing speed of about 110, with a smooth tempo.

I have a g5 10.5 tfc stiff and get no roll...hit it too high...wanting to switch to aldila VS proto or the Grafalloy comp nt..both have similar specs...dont know which one to get......?
