Titielist Premium Stand Bag Issue - help

i have been using a titleist premium stand bag since february of this year, and it has ruined 3 putter grips. i keep my putter in the front compartment by itself. i bought a new scotty cameron 2.6 this year, and after a few rounds of playing with the new putter/bag, the putter grip had been torn on the butt end (see attached picture).

i re-gripped the club with a white iomic grip, and the same thing happened after another few rounds. this past weekend i got a blue iomic grip and it happened again!!! before putting the blue grip on, i asked the shop to make the edge of the shaft more dull and to putt extra tape, in case that was what caused the grip to tear. i do not slam my putter into the bag (even tho sometimes i want to) and the bag has been in a cart during the rounds. i tried looking into the bag with a flashlight to see if there was anything sharp in there but i could not see anything.

has anyone had an issue like this with this bag??? its so weird, and i'm getting tired of buying new grips!!!

If your riding, cart jolts could be the cause. Suggestion, try stuffing some foam or styrafoam down in the hole to bottom, so your grip bottom rides on that, hopefully problem solved. Nice titleist setup! I use all Titleist woods/hybrids/Cameron. Irons by Mizuno...

I would shine a light down in there to see if by chance there is some type of sheer edge causing your issue (screw, pop rivet, strapping debris). I have the 14 way bag which is pretty much the exact same bag with a 14 way top and have had zero issues like this.

That's a good idea before my solution. I am now thinking on lines of what you are, thinking it could be injection mold tube sharrp edge!

Call Titleist customer service - they can probably send you a replacement bag.
