What is your favorite ball marker?

American flag ball markers from Ebay.

 

 

About the size of a quarter and only cost $3 each.

 

 

They are magnetized, but I will just keep them in my pocket like a coin and such.

 

 

Most the ball markers I have seen have been way too big. These should be perfect.

I just purchased a Scotty Cameron ball marker tool, seems like it should work really well time will tell. Before that I used a Cool Clubs white marker or any old coin.

I usually use pocket change but if I wanted something special I'd consider Geocoins - always some on ebay. Some incredible designs, not that expensive. Check size before ordering - it varies from about a dime to 2 or 3 inches, depending on the coin.

Got the above mentioned ball markers in. They are very nice, slightly thinner than a quarter which I like. Nice to not have to push into the green. Not that a quarter is that bad, but most the other ball markers I have seen lately are way too thick in my opinion. These were only $2.95 each and I ordered four and he sent 5. Sweet.

I put a dozen or so 1943 steel pennies in my ball pocket each year. I usually grab one when I take out a ball and use it as a marker for the round. Every time I see one of these pennies, I recall my grandfather giving me my first one for good luck when I was about 6 yrs old. I can't help feeling maybe one day he'll be watching down and help me sink one when I could really use it.

I usually opt for a coin of some sort. Usually a penny with my birth year. Id like to say I have a lucky one but everytime I start to get one with some luck attached to it I lose it. Im also a fan of the flat plastic ones with the spike you can sink into the green, but I hate to carry them in my pocket.

Byron Morgan ball marker. Slightly larger than a quarter, great colors and visibility. It's actually hand laid glass in there, I think. Made by Sandy Parr. Beautiful and easy to spot.

I carry two quarters in my pocket. Must be quarters. Dimes are too small, nickels are stupid, and it is impossible to see pennies when you are trying to read your putt behind the hole. If need be, I pilfer quarters from playing partners at the beginning of my round.

I have a bag full of them in my bag, but I usually just use the one that comes on the FJ gloves. Way more of a convenience. Either that or I will use one from the course I am playing.

Whatever is in my pocket or available at the time. Tees, lighters, beer can, change. Funny part is, I buy those damn poker chips every time I play, yet never seem to have one when I need it. Their all in a fish bowl on my desk.
