Looking to introduce and meet others

Hey Everyone,

Just looking to introduce myself to the forum and possible meet others in my area to golf with while also picking up some extra knowledge from this great forum. My couple of my golf buddies took on law/graduate school and no longer have the time or funds to play on a regular basis.

I work on Capitol Hill in the private sector, recently moved here from Albany, NY and so far enjoying it. I live in NE DC and have Langston muni a mile from my flat. I have played and enjoy very much courses such as Whiskey Creek, Worthington Maner, PB Dye and a few others though I golf East Potomac (blue course) on a regular basis due to my cheap friends ha. I am 24 so still wet around the ears but enjoy playing with all ages. My hdcp is a conservative 10. My bag consists of:

- Taylormade Superfast Driver @ 9 degree loft though just got the Callaway Razr Hawk Driver (in the mail!)
- Taylormade Tour Preferred MB's 3-PW
- Odyssey 2-ball putter
- Taylormade Tac Wedges 52 & 58 degrees
- Taylormade 3 Rescue
- Taylormade 3 Fairway wood

Great set up and Welcome to WRX.

Hide your wallet because if you like to tinker you'll end up buying all the new goodies out there!! Although, it looks like you've already done that.

Check out the sub forums here for the states/area you live in, and you might be able to find events and pick up games, or a new course you haven't played in your area.

Come winter, I'll play next to no golf and plan on saving up for a possible outing with the boys. I purchased the Razr Hawk and expect the club while the gf is away on business so... if you can tell I'm a closet club buyer...

 

I ust got done playing in the rain, the new putter is AWESOME, much better feel than my Odyssey Mallet.
