TEE CB4 Driver

Okay gang, the pro shop at my local club has a TEE CB4 driver with a Graphite Design Tour AD EV 7X sitting there looking for a new home. Can anyone compare the CB4/AD EV 7X combo to a 910 D2 Kai'li 70 combo in terms of launch, spin, and feel.

If it helps, my swing is 104-107 MPH with a strong, but not overly agressive move into the downswing. With my current driver (8.5* 910D2 set to C1) I get about 16* launch angle with 3300 RPM spin and about 149-152 MPH ball speed. Would the CB4/ AD EV 7x be worth taking for a spin as a demo?

We have similar swing stats and similar described tempo, so I will say I can't speak that that specific combo as I own the CB4 Tour with the stock shaft (Aldila RIP) which seems to suite my swing ok. I honestly haven't swung it very much yet and I have yet to get used to its feel over my other driver.

But with that said.. the launch and spin I was geting with the RIP shaft were

104-107 SS also
10-13* launch
2300-2700 Spin

The head is a low spining head so maybe a different shaft in that head will be better for you.. maybe something with a litle but higher kick point..

Spin and launch angle should come down. How much? That depends on the loft of the TEE.

The CB4 head will feel similar to the Titleist. Both heads are a little too light in my opinion. They both have that same tingy sound and feeling.

Agreed, I would think the CB4 will produce better numbers then what your getting now. A D3 would give you better numbers if you want to stick with the same driver series. But KK is right both need some HOTMELT.
