*Note* This is open to everyone, not just Ohioans! We've got four WRX'ers who may be coming over from the Pittsburgh area and someone mentioned car-pooling which would be cool. If you're out of state or still pretty far away(I know we've got alot of members down in Cincy and Colombus), you could always try to find another member in your area to meet up with and come together. The outing is at The Quarry in Canton, OH, so you football fans could check out the Pro Football Hall of Fame and make it a double whammy while in town! The Hall of Fame is a little over 10 minutes away from the course. All you have to do is go down I-77 to Route 30 and you're there. Their's also a Laser Quest in North Canton if anyone wants to get whooped in some laser tag! We could also hit up Outback Steakhouse or some other restaurant in the area. We've got plenty of time to discuss some post round ideas if anyone wants to stick around following the outing and hangout.

And the rock and roll HOF is about 45 min to an hour away in downtown C town.

And the indians might be in town and you absolutely have to check out [s]Jacobs [/s]Progressive field, Awesome yard to watch a ball game and the mustard is the best in the world.

The point being that for some of you who are thinking that we are too far away and NE ohio sucks, you are wrong! Lots of cool stuff to do around here. So grab your WRX'r buddy, pack up the wives and GF's, send them shopping at Belden Village and make a weekend out of it.

Fun for all and this state needs every tourist dollar we can get!

Wait will the casinos be open by then?! I know that enticed some of you on the fencers!

This is gonna be great! i am super excited to [s]get into your wallets[/s] meet and play some golf, maybe have a few pepsi's etc.

Bring the family and make a weekend out of it! You can golf, check out the HOF, eat with the guys, play some laser tag, and many other things. The wife and kids can hit up the mall, maybe they can play some laser tag too, and also, Dogwood pool is in North Canton too, so they can check that out. They've got a couple small water slides, two diving boards(high and low dive), and if you've got young kids, their's a kids pool that they can play in and a little playground.

It's still a long ways away but when we get closer to this summer and we're starting to hammer everything out, let me know if anyone is staying all weekend and we could get a couple of us together and maybe play Sunday as well at a local course and hang out for the day or something. I'm guessing most will just come the morning of the outing, hang out at the course a little bit afterwards, and then head home...but if you are staying in town all weekend, we can plan something for Sunday too if anyone is up for it.

I still think we should also plan on playing Saturday and Sunday. I know not everyone can make it both days but for the guys that might be spending the night in the area and the local guys, a Sunday round would be nice. This would also give everyone a chance to make one of those days. We could play another course in the area like Boulder Creek, Raintree, The Sanctuary ... ETC.

I've got to disagree with you on the Cavs. Granted, they haven't beaten a >.500 team yet, but Kyrie and Tristen are adding a lot of excitement to the team. They are better than I expected. Might even play .500 b-ball this season.

The only issue with boulder is that it is a little bit Pricey on weekends.

If we wanted to travel a little further east, http://www.kennsingtongolf.com/ is a great track and it is one I am sure a lot of guys have not played. it is only $45 on weekends!!!!

I've been pleasantly suprised as well. I like what I'm seeing so far. Young team that plays hard and I think we've got a bright future. I have faith in Dan Gilbert. He doesn't seem like a guy who accepts losing like some of the other Cleveland owners have seemed to.

**Should everyone be able to make it, as of now we would have five foursomes get off. Alot better than I expected. I think I'm going to cap it off at 6 groups(24 people) because after that I think it's going to be hard to get all the tee times together since that would be almost an hour of tee times. So I think we'll limit it to 24 people which will be the first 24 that sign up. [u]After the 24 spots are filled, you can still sign up[/u], and you can take the place of someone else if they can't make it. I'm sure their will be at least three or four who end up not being able to make it. Right now, 20 of the 24 spots are filled. Remember, [u]signing up isn't committing to coming right now[/u], it's simply saying if you are interested and if you don't have anything going on, you would come. But still, [u]only sign up if you have a serious interest in coming and their is a good decent you will be able to make it[/u].**

*I think we are going to go with Saturday, June 30th as the date of the outing. Ideally, it would be [u]Saturday, June 30th with tee times from 9-10 or 10-11[/u]. But it is still pending and could subject to change due to how far away it is. If you are interested in staying Saturday night and [u]you would still be in town on Sunday[/u], we can try to [u]get a foursome together to play another local course[/u]. OMG the BST gone live in the parking lot of the Quarry! Brilliant idea. The fact is though i would likely have been prepared for that even without it being posted here. Just went out and hit some birdie balls in the yard. The backswing hurts the shoulder a little but I was up to taking almost full swings!!!! Maybe two more weeks and I will be ready for the golf dome.
