Cost to build long drive club

Wondering what the cost would be to build a good long drive driver. Feel like it would be something fun for me to do and have been told I should do it. Played a RIP 80x 910 D3 and averaged about 320 with it but never felt like I got good numbers with it. The one time I did get good numbers I average 350 off the tee for the day. I have a 8a4 that had better numbers in the simulator but I haven't had a chance to play with it yet because of school.

To custom make a good brand long drive club can be very inexpensive. I picked up a brand new 9064LD from Adams on eBay for $100 and a Used UST LD3 shaft from a long drive forum for $35. Only thing you have to choose is if you want to assemble it yourself or have a professional do it.

Cost's anywhere from 250.00 to 450.00 according to the components you use and if you build them yourself or not. HOF shafts run from 139-199. UST shafts are 120.00. Krank heads are 250.00. Geek heads run 139-159. Aldila shafts run 170.00. Adams heads run 289.00. Alpha heads run 210.00. Aerotech Claymore shafts run 125.00. My LD clubs run 250-300 each and I have 10 that I switch out every year. Not an inexpensive hobby by no means.

SMT has the Nemesis on closeout for $25. Put that with a shaft and give it a go. It's a 400cc head.

I have one and like it very much.
