Tampa Club Fitting

Looking for a trusted pro...

I live in Tampa, about 5 minutes from the Airport, and I'm looking for a solid club fitter. The only thing I have seen close by is GolfTec but have heard conflicting reviews. I travel to Bradenton a lot as well so something that way would be convenient. I'm not above driving an hour or so.

Any suggestions would be great,

If you are still looking.. I have used golf advantage a couple of times. They have multiple manufacturers fitting carts and I believe they use a trackman or flightscope launch monitor. The fitting is outside at Legacy golf club. They usually have relatively new balls and are very professional.

Didn't get a reply by golf advantage yet. Will give it a go at golftec if I can get a hold of Don. Will be in Tampa a couple of days to hit Bern's a couple of times. Golftec's nearby which is an added plus.

It has probably been 15 years, but Snap did a fitting for me. Very knowledgeable

For the record. Got replies to my questions by golf advantage inc and will give them a shot.

Experienced an impeccable fitting and can only highly recommend Dave and Jeff of Golf Advantage Inc (no interests whatsoever obviously). Always got replies on mail requests and was met on time (very early in the morning) and everything was ready to go as scheduled. Very appreciated the presence of Jeff (founder) during the fitting process. Great location too.

As an aside, I've also been impressed by the work ethics in general. The quality of service is certainly not adequately remunerated IMO.

+1 to Bob. He works on tour as a substitute for TaylorMade. That says a lot.
