How does Taylormade determine the length of their fairway woods and drivers? Is there some processes that they employ that gives them the final length swing weight etc for the mass production of their clubs?

As customization has picked up over the last few years, has TMAG put thought into letting the end user customize the crown, as far as color goes, for their woods. I have tried the white heads but I am not as comfortable with them as a black head. Whether the color be black, satin black, white, etc. has there been thought about color customization from TMAG by the end user before they are in the hands of the end user? Just curious. Didn't read all post and sorry if this has been covered previously

There is no plan to launch the RBZ-B iron to the market. We design and provide these irons to our Tour players in very limited quantities to meet their performance needs but also as experimental prototypes to learn how our latest technologies can provide utility to very skilled players. Camilo's set which he played at the Shark Shootout earlier this month is currently one-of-a-kind. In the past, we have decided to sell B versions of our Tour Preferred irons as special editions. -BW

Thanks for your question, JWF. TaylorMade Golf sold more than 2 million white metalwoods globally in 2011 and expect even bigger things in 2012 with the introduction of our new RocketBallz and R11S metalwoods.

[size=3]The RBZ irons are longer, straighter, and feel better than B2.0. Not bad, considering the popularity and breakthrough performance of theB2.0 (currently the number one selling iron on and off course). To accomplish this, we looked at each iron individually and considered how we could make it perform better. In the long irons (3,4,5), a new hollow-bodyconstruction was used similar to our metalwoods to increase ball speed and distance significantly while maintaining high flight. Mid irons are cavity-backs with ultra-thinfaces providing high COR and improved accuracy and forgiveness. Short irons and wedges have been designed to be more playable and controllable, with the AW, SW, and LW being more bladelike, and incorporating our new ATV versatile sole design for better shot-making. -BW [/size]

Everyone is saying that the upgraded technology in the RBZ 3 wood will deliver up to a 17 yd gain. Is this technology incorporated in the RBZ Driver , giving a similar distance increase?
