TM Smoke IP ATV Wedges

Just noticed these on the Japan TM website, the smoke finish looks so nice IMO! If only TM would release this finish in the West:

I'm kind of debating between these, forged vokeys, miura, and kamui bw-02. Tough decisions and none are cheap.

I have the 60* in this version that is sitting in my closet that has hit maybe 10 balls total. I have the standard version in the 60 & 54 currently in my bag and love the wedges. My wife bought me the 60 forged carbon steel version for my birthday, but I am just having a hard time putting a $200 wedge into play, especially since my current wedges have a few nicks in them and they are not forged. Anyone interested is more than welcome to send me an IM if you are interested.

Bought two of them at my GolfTown in Quebec City yesterday (Sorry for blurry pictures):

I knew these were JDM ($$$$), so I was pretty happy when I bought them for 300 bucks total. Of course, I won't be able to play them on real grass until April, since there is snow on the ground

Nice pickup! Do you have the regular ATV wedges too? If so, can you do some side by sides of them both? I think the JDM version are cleaner looking at address.

Sorry TMS, I only have these. But you're right, they are cleaner at address, less sun reflection. That's one of the reason I bought these instead of the normal ATV. The other reason is that they are so sharp looking. The smoke finish is unbelievable.

The JDM version IS forged, S20C (1020) steel.

Same head, different shaft. GT often gets JDM stuff that they blow out cheap. Witness for example the Forged Nike Machspeed irons that they had since release (at nearly the same price as the non forged) or the forged machspeed driver/fairways with Ilima's, DI's and Speeders in them for around $150 a pop.

Yeah, that would be nice, but it doesn't exist in Quebec City. We have about 10 ranges not linked to golf courses in my town, and when the snow starts to fall down, they all shut down. We have places with golf simulators but it's not the same.
You guys from South need to understand how lucky you are. Some of you an play during holiday vacations. Here in the Great White North, we are shoveling snow
To give you an idea, we had around 2 meters of snow in the last 10 days.

LOL! That's funny. (The not back to the 2nd part) I just came back here to post that I'd re-confirm next week. I know that all existing orders for the black carbon ATV are cancelled, and that they have been told that it is a dead product (along with the DLL.) My buddy, who is a HIGH-UP at TM, is in Jamaica until the 4th. I'm not gonna bother him with this, but I will as soon as he gets back. He's the one who told me it was dead. Then the inside reps were notified of it the week of the internal release of all the new product. So--unless something drastic has changed (hopefully it has, as I want the black wedges) they are dead. Hoping to be wrong here, but don;t think so.
