Recieved my 10.5 earlier this afternoon. Put a Zcom Six Stiff in and went to the range. This club is soooooooo nice. Great ball flight and seems to fly forever.

Just got my Hi-bore it looks sweet! will post a pic or too (cool)

 

Hit it today outside - it was about 35 and windy.

head is 9.5

 

felt real solid - i really like this shaft you could feel it -i thinkits tipped to a s/x flex (255cpm)

misses on the toe and a pretty good draw to them. but when it was hit square the ball just flew off on a nice flight and seemed to just keep going.

im crushing mine, its alittle strange playing with the open clubface but i've only hit a few drives so far. only played 9 with it, hit it 4 times. I love the sound and trajectory!

Hit the club yesterday in the cold. Hit it well. Definitely a left avoiding club.

 

 

Can you help me find a similar setup for a 3 wood and hybrids i.e., a couple of degrees open?

 

What about shaft options for my profile: swing speed around 100 for the driver; 5 iron carry 175. Bad shot low and left. Looking for more height on the 3 wood, not needed as much on the hybrid.

I put mine together with a Zcom Six S flex. It's hard to tell because of the weather in Chicago, but it seems to really jump of the club face. Joe if my club is a 10.5, but 3-4 degrees open, what does that make the true loft. Can it be bent to 1 degree open.

Static loft would probably around 13 but that is not how it play of course. Lot's of factors need to be consider.

 

I never really believe in this effective loft talk to much, Because the idea of having the face angle open is so we can hit the ball w/ more open face at impact to give less hooking problem.

 

Anyway, You want to have it more open? or just 1* open ( close it a bit). YOu achieve it by shimming to the angle you want it to be during installation.

What I'm HOPING for is the extra weight in the shaft, combined with with the fairway finding abilities that this club seems to be known for will keep me in play. Also, have a club a little more dialed in for my launch characteristics shouldn't hurt.
