I think it is a great idea. Steve Z has mentioned it to Byron.

I think that would be a great Idea. I know we have a something for Cameron and Another for TP Mills. Wouldbe great to see Byron start one as well.

Damn....Does this mean I need to buy another Byron as Isold my last one. LOL

This has been a long time coming and I am in, as well.

You guys had to know that I was in, all the way, right? I have been a fan of Byron's for the past 10 years, easy. Seems only natural that I'd keep it going with a membership in the Club Byron.

I'm in and working on the logo. Sounds like a fun project between reading golfwrx and actually doing my job at work!! Drewspin and Z-man have been PMing me with ideas for the logo. Byron lives in SoCal and has a surfing past, and Club Byron has a nice vacation sound to it, so the logo should have a sort of California surfer aesthetic to it. I'm also thinking about the Welshman crest he already uses. There might be some interesting juxtapostion in the logo solution between Surfer themes and the crest shape.

Give me about a week and I'll post some vector art logos.

I just wanted to fill everyone in on the new stufff.

 

1.The New Blade...still working on Byron .. he is starting to crack .It will be 3-D milled,not friction welded. The putter will be milled out of one piece billet. Nobody is doing this .Limited run..

 

2.The new Mallet is almost ready.. the 1st proto should be here soon.

It will have a Twlight -Zone face and weigh in at a healthy 365 grams.

I will show photos as soon I get them.

 

3.The putter everyone wants... Metals have been ordered... The new Byron Dale-Head ,not its name..

It will be a traditional looking Ping Style orginal Dale Head Anser-only Beefer.

In the first run we will have a few pure copper... the weight will be around 400 grams.

11l17 carbon and 303 stainless weighing in at 350+

I just got the chills!!! VERY exciting news.

1. Z-man, can you explain what 3-D milling is versus non? What makes this unique?

2. Please save a caaaarbon 400 gram beauty for me... gun blue coming soon!!?? The new Dale head should have a surf theme to match the Club Byron theme.

From what I have gathered from Byron.. Blades in the past had a welded on hosel..In the early 90`s friction welding was perfected on putters by Cleveland golf and Tad Moore . This run of putters will be from a one piece billet 3 d milled . Way more expensive to make ...

The Byron TT 360 is great. I just got it back from Byron. I had Byron bend it 2 degrees flatter. It just started to snow today so I won't be able to putt with it until I go to Phoenix in January. It is the best looking putter you can get for the money. If your in the market for a new putter Byron will make you one of the best putters in the world. :(

Things are great! Could the weather be any nicer, here? Played Kokopelli, last Saturday and got my butt kicked. It always gets the best of me, for a short tract.

John Ortega and Byron Morgan were in business together the company was called John Byron. Now Byron is on his own and its called Byron Golf Design.

Thanks - so my John Byron is now a Byron Morgan? It was '95 is in solid 9 cond (if the leather grip was better - it'd be aboug 9.75!

I am looking at different finishes to put on the New Club Byron putter. This is what I have found..Bos will do a cool oil can finish. Sheffeild Plating did The Circa putters for Scotty That is available.. We can get a black oxide from a few different places. I am still checking on the other more exotic finishes.I need to hear some imput on this..Any help would be appreciated ..
