I guess I'm still a amateur club ho. My total year expense on everything is 6K. Of course if I made more money I'd probably spend more too ;) .

I've had the same putter in the bag for 2 years. I tried a Corza for 1 round and it wen't right to the BST. I think I lost $20 on it :crazy:

 

So I only spent $20 on putters this year :D ;)

That's a crap load of money on putters. I have only spent $250 which was on a Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless Newport Beach that I purchased and later traded for my Red X2.

It wasn't that close (and thats tough to say because my 009 is a work of art)...but the price tag tips the scale and the set up, feel and overall look of this putter is soooo much better in person on the Ryder Cup....I have only used the Betti on the carpet...and let me tell you.....SHE IS SWEET, might be the finest crafted putter I have ever laid my hands on.

That's what I figured, LOL. I love the millng on the Bett, but I also loved your 009. If price hadn't been a factor....it would have been a tough call for me. LOL

Nice figures, where were you able to pick up the Redwood for $179 (wasn't too terribly hard to deduce from your itemized list if you pay attention to the flatstick forum at all ;) )? I'm a huge fan of those Betts, but am even more impressed by the way you spread the money around. SC, GD, Bett, and Ping make some great putters (though I would like to see you put some more cash into Ping, and round out the purchasing with a TP Mills putter or two. Oh, and don't forget the Byron :D ). Also, of those 32 putters how many do you still have? At any rate, way to go.

Gotta admit it was an off year for me, I normally go through putters like Imelda Marcos went through shoes. But since we are building a new house, that just happens to be part of a golf course development, i have curbed by Ho-ing. The only putter was a Bettinardi Mercedes slightly used which I picked up for about $125.
