Daytona Beach Fl

So going to Daytona Beach Fl in the end of the july.. Wanting to play some golf. Although it will be solo i still want to play a couple times. Wanting to play some good courses. Definitely dont mind driving and hour or something to play somewhere nice. Any reccomendations would be sweet. Not too worried about price if it's worth it.

play every october late last eight years....halifax plantation is my favourite, both LPGA`s are a tough go even from the white blocks, plantation bay is a dandy as well, also a university home course is as tough as you can get...victoria hills(35 SW minutes away) spruce creek is a old but enjoyable track as well....

I like both of the courses at LPGA Intenational. They are both very different styles, Champions being more wide open, 'links'ish, and the Legends winds through trees and water hazards. If you are really looking to play some golf you could hit both in the same day, I recall they used to have a pay one price, play both courses deal. Also, it is July in Florida, so they might just let you play for free...

I would also look into the Ocean Course at Hammock Beach. It is a bit north of Daytona Beach but certainly less than an hour. Cool course with a bunch of holes right along the water. They also have another course there called the Conservatory that is a beach, approaching 7800 yards from the tips! I did not get a chance to play there but hopefully will my next time back to Florida!

Victoria used to be a great track, getting a little tired and run down unfortunately. Ocean Hammock, the Nicklaus Ocean course and the Watson Conservatory are both excellent, and only 40 minutes from Daytona. Venitian Bay is just south in New Smyrna, better than Halifax and Spruce IMHO, newer, reasonably priced. You could also drive an hour north to the Slammer and Squire or the King and the Bear at the World Golf Village

I have a condo at daytona, lpga courses are awesome, spurce creek is pretty tough, and a great view of the airplanes (small airport right on course) another nice small fun course is riviera cc, but if you want to stay close, just go to lpga, you can get pretty cheap rates, and its awesome.
