R11s vs RBZ Tour

I went with a R11sTP because it felt better and for me outperformed the Rocketballz Tour Driver.

I'm interested in this as well - from purely a head standpoint. I've got the shaft ready and everything, just need to know which head is better :0)

I tried the rbz tour head and it felt like, looked like and SOUNDED like shhhhh....

I bought r11s because my miss on the toe was faster and a bit less penalizing than r11 was.

I bought both, ended up with the R11s. Felt better, to me sounded better, and was more accurate. I had an Aldila RIP NV with the RBZ Tour, but I prefer the combo I have now, R11s with Diamana Ahina 60s. For the driver lineup, the R11s wins in my opinion, but in fairway, the slight edge to RBZ.

I got the RBZ tour but the margin was very small. Slightly better ball speed numbers, a little more forgiving, and less expensive. The feel was a little better but not by much. The feel of the RBZ was a little too soft and the r11s a little too firm/mutted. Yes the sound was worse but that didn't really bother me.

One important thing to keep in mind with respect to feel and performance info above, I compared the two with the same shaft (one of mine from my r9 - PF v2 65), not the stock shaft options for either. If I had to stick to the stock shafts, the r11s' phenom was better for me than the stock xcon-6. The rbz tour tp HD6 shaft felt good but was a bit too low launch for my swing. So I might have gone with the r11s instead if I hadn't planed on doing my own shaft upgrade. Right now I'm playing the rbz tour with a RIP gamma.

I agree but I think the edge is more than slight in fairways. And tried both heads with my same shaft and didn't like the rbz tour driver.

Interesting, it was the complete opposite for me. LM didn't show any performance advantage in the rbz fw. I thought the stock shaft was horrible and the feel even worse - like hitting marshmallows. The feel was such a turn-off, I had no interest in trying it on the outdoor range. The r11s with it's phenom shaft was the big winner in the FW dept for me by a large margin.

Tried them both and thats including a RBZ TP and found them to be ok... neither better than the Ping G20... in my hands at least.

I think the R11s was a bit better for me off the deck, but I realized for my game, I'm gonna use the 3 wood off the tee more so I went with the RBZ Tour. I hit it well off the deck too but it was flying a lot lower than the R11s. The R11s fairway is no slouch, but the RBZ was just better for me and for my needs. Either way, I think TM has a really solid lineup.

Yeah the stock rbz shaft is dookie, and I never gave the r11s fairway a chance because I hated the empty feeling of my r11 fairway last season. I've read the r11s got a huge upgrade for feel

I purchased a RBZ Tour....put in a AXIVCore Tour Black in it. It is long, and strong, and down to get the freak s#@* on, but I have gone back to my G15 with the same AXIVCore Tour Black 69 shaft in the G15. G15 distance is 10-15 yards shorter, but it just feels and sounds better.

Rbz tour was better for me with rul but souns horrible compared to the R11s. If u can deal with the sound then get the rbz tour!

Try both with your shaft of choice if possible. I thought I would end up with the R11S, but the RBZ Tour was better for me, and it wasn't even close.

I tried both and ended up going with a RBZ Tour, I have no plans to move my R11 TP on yet and there wasnt much difference for me between my current R11 and the R11S.

For me with the Kai'li 70X in both heads, I was 9 yards longer and with equal deviation with the RBZ Tour...both heads set 1.5* open and down to 8.25* loft. I really think the shaft makes the head sound softer overall. No issues with feel or sound at all. I did like the R11s head more than the R11 fwiw.
