They have about 200 games on them now and at least 300 range days.....they still look like the pictures except that the soles and the impact spot on the face has worn somewhat...... I'll get a pic up here later today.

 

Here are some pics of the 8 iron....the PW and 9 iron have slightly more wear and the longer irons show less wear.

The second picture is as good as it will show............on the short irons the sole is pretty much just nickel finish now....the longer irons still show the black, but turf friction and driving range mats eventually wears the black off the soles.

Just a little update......Check the Miura Golf website...these are now being offered as a "regular" model.

I have found that when the black wears off a bit I can re-black them with black oxide solution. These clubs are actually "Boron black" coated but the black oxide does re-black them with a nice shimmery (Almost oily) looking black finish that seems to last really well..........I have re done them twice now.....They come out just like new again with a slightly more shiny finish.

boron black will be available for the 501s too! wooo!

Would one be able to get the BB finish on a combo set of blades and 501's? Is the retail the same price for the BB 501's?
