Nothing would give me greater pleasure than an independant Wales, free from English rule but alas, it's not feasible in this capitalist world that we live in. The Scots have got the oil and gas in the North Sea but the Welsh have no available natural resources to sustain itself. Yes, there are still billions of tons of coal left in them thar hills but thanks to Thatcher we no longer have the skill set to mine the stuff anymore. We would need to get the Chinese in to teach us!

So, unfortunately it's not that we don't wont independence - it's that we need the English.

And yes... Gareth Bale would be Heir to any Welsh throne- he's awesome!

Back to the Topic, I have been on here for 5.5 years and it does seem to be a little rough as of late. I have also notice that some of my favorite threads have slowed way down, meaning no post in months.
