MB in late Jan? Good or bad idea? True Blue, Caledonia, etc...

Never been to MB in the winter so looking for a reality check with regards to weather. I know there can be super cold and warm days but what can we realistically expect? 50's, 60's? Also, if you only had three/four courses to play there what would they be?

I've been to MB in the Winter several times and have had every kind of weather you can imagine. I think average highs are in the 50's. I've been frozen a few times and had a week in the 70's once.

My 3 MB faves are True Blue, Caledonia and the Dunes Golf & Beach Club.

Your weather will be a flip of coin, you could have snow in morning and 50's in afternoon. Prices are good but weather can make it bad, you will need to be prepared.

Great Flickr stream of MB courses. Where would you recommend staying in MB? Nicest place if money is no object?

All great course choices, weather is risky in January and February, could be excellent, could be quite chilly and wet, even had snow on one occassion when we went in Jan.
