I had a set of these TM CGB's for about 3 months, they looked great, and are quite expensive.

As far as I am concerned they are the worst clubs on the market at the present time, if you want to hit everything 20/30 yards left, then you would be saying they were the best clubs on the market.

I am a single digit USGA golf handicap, and have played golf for over 40 years, I bought the CGB's with high hopes, but have never been more disappointed in my golfing life. :drinks:

I had the same experience. Not for a single digit handicap.

I'm a Single Dig HC also, but I love the3 and 4 iron RAC CGB clubs.

I've been playing the TM CGB Max Irons for 2-months now and love them. They are expensive, but worth the price as the quality is top-notch. These irons were designed to be super-forgiving, and they don't disappoint. Not sure why a low-handicapper would try to play these as they are geared as Super Game Improvement clubs for mid-to-high handicappers. They have strong lofts (ie PW 44 degrees)...so I had to adjust down 1 club for most approach shots. Hit the sweetspot and that nice titanium click sends the ball soaring toward your target. Miss-hit and you still receive a satisfactory shot. I've put some less than desireable swings on the ball and still found the green on my approach shots. They truly are forgiving in this respect. If you have the cash and want the TaylorMade top-of-the-line game improvement iron, check these out.

Absolutely the longest iron I have ever tried. Feel is almost as good as a forged iron. I gained a distance of almost 20 yards. I bought a demo 6 iron in regular graphite shaft and tried it on a launch monitor and on the course. A shot on a par 3 went about 210 yards with the wind and the next shot on another par 3, I hit 179 yards on a slightly elevated green and had a chance for a birdie. Normally I hit a 4 or 5 iron there. Easy to hit and feels are really good. It might be the regular graphite shaft for increased distance, but I really like the feel of this iron. :smilie_tm:
