Anybody know anything about old Ray Cook Blue Goose putters??

I played in an outing a couple years ago and forgot my putter. Since it was just a friendly outing I used one of my playing partners putters. It was an old Ray Cook Blue Goose mallet with a double bend shaft. Usually I hate mallet style putters and really hate double bend shafts... I have just never been able to putt with the design. But, I drained everything with that old Ray Cook. I should have bought it off the guy who only wanted like $25 bucks for it but I figured it was just a honey moon phase. Now I am looking to purchase a mallet putter for the season to test on some slower greens I play. I really don't want to pay an arm and a leg for one and I'm also kind of hoping to give the ole' goose a shot again if I can find one.

 

Anyway, I think I found the model he had on ebay. The problem is I would like to find one in slightly better shape and without a big insignia right where my eyes are looking before I hit a putt. I am also not sure if this is the original one or if this is one of the newer reproductions. I'm pretty sure the one I was using was an original. So, if anyone has any insight into where I can get one of these things or just wants to discuss these putters I would really appreciate it.

The head shapes are almost identical.. thought I think the Cook design is slightly more compact front to back. The big difference with the Ray Cook putter was the feel .. think heavy as hell but with that crisp sound that comes off of one of the stainless Camerons.

That's from the early nineties era - heavy and great feel. CWB I have the same oatmeal carpet - great roll!

I had one in the early 1990s. Nice stick, concur that I remember it being heavy. Ultimately lost out to an original Fat Lady Swings.

That is the Ray Cook Blue Goose # 4 !! Son plays one, His is in
excellent condition !! Carbon steel with a milled face, Rolls the
ball real nice !! Good luck in your search !! My son's is NOT for sale !!!

Looks good... except for the ebay winged foot item! What the.... firstly, if that's a 9 out of 10 condition then i'd hate to see an 8, but who on earth would ever put that logo or whatever on the top in that position? Bizarre.
