I can almost guarantee that it is closer to 380cc. Here is a photo of one of his test drivers that a friend of mine owns, I have held it next to other 420cc heads and it's noticeably smaller.

He has mentioned before that he does annual shaft and head testing on Trackman to compare his gamer's to the newest stuff. I believe the driver that I attached was tested right about the time he moved out of the Dymo 380 head, when the VR was first released.

He actually played a Fubuki 60 gram and Oban Proto for short periods between the WB and DI.

No clue.... I hope not since he is driving the ball well with the VR.

Now that I think about it, I am incorrect on my shaft timeline. If I remember correctly he went White Board, back from scandal at Masters with DI, then Fubuki, Oban Proto, White Board and DI. Maybe someone can correct me if I am wrong.

Yup, but don't forget Aldila XPP8. That was the one that had this place buzzing a few years back (2009) when he was also testing the Oban and Project X. IIRC, dumped all of those and played the WB 83 until he switched to the VR Tour/DI at the Masters when he came back in 2010. I think he tested some fubukis later in the year at the Players, the site of the infamous pop-ups with the 3 wood.

Don't ask me how I remember this stuff, I don't even remember what shafts I was playing in 2009.

It might sound stupid but I know I am not the only golfer that tries to play with the same bag as Tiger. Of course, he has specs and versions I can't get. But at least I can get the clubs at retail and the shafts (AD-DI, Diamanas) that are close enough to what he uses.
