He plays a 63* PW. That's not really a "degree or two upright."

In fact, he used to play Mizuno, which usually has their sets off of a 63* PW. Lots of companies are going off 64 or even higher now.

Woods has also said that he hasn't ever changed his lie angles since he started. So, it makes sense why he's still got a 63* PW.

It's all on that screenshot. He doesn't have the typical .5 increments that lots of people use.

Depending on how you look at it, he's probably at least a degree flat.

His lie angle is 63*. He uses a 60* lofted lob wedge with a 63* lie angle.

[/quote]Correct. The data sheet that was posted up here shows his loft to be 11.25 but the driver is marked as 8.5. By this it would mean he's playing a closed face. To knock the effective loft from 11.25 to 8.5 you'd have to open the face by almost 6 degrees. There are some guys on tour that do this like Retief who want to avoid the left side.

11.25 is probably the actual loft of the head. It says 8.5 on the bottom which is meaningless. There are tons of threads about PING doing this but all the OEM's do it. I think its cool just to see the spec sheet of his sticks.

I doubt you'll see him do a complete overhaul this year, although the fact that he started with the oldest club in his bag is promising. He didn't hit Covert all that great this week, so it'll be interesting to see how it goes as he gets comfortable with it.

Tiger's a creature of habit. I remember reading a story a while back (think 2003) that Golf Digest did discussing what went into Tiger testing a new ball. I'll see if I can find out.

Does he not sometimes dump the 5 w for a two iron. He had the 5w this week at doral , so only 3-9 irons?

The red on the coverts is a traditionalist as it goes. Wood woods were often that red on the crown or the face painting/insert.

I could be wrong but Im pretty sure that they were one of the first new sponsors that signed him after his ordeal an multiple company's dropping him. They seem to be pretty good about signing guys trying to make a comeback because they were one of Vicks first sponsors as well once he tried to come back to the NFL

The only problem is nobody evens knows what "Fuse Science" means. It's a pointless advertisement.

They had a few products a couple years ago, but every time I even looked at them they were completely out of stock. As is not available from the manufacturer. Not sold out, just not currently available.

Maybe they have products in stores now, who knows...
