To whoever asked, the only similarity to TW's and off the rack irons are the paint and chrome. Do a search and you will find all the info you want.

(open club face reduces loft and viceversa closed add loft)

His iron lofts are 2-3 degrees weak, and at least 1-2 degrees flat (compared to off-the-rack VR Blades)

what are you on about with his driver, if his driver is a 8.5 degree head but it is measured at 11.5 degrees of loft then his face is 3 degrees closed......A CLOSED FACE ADDS LOFT TO THE CLUB

You are correct that closed adds loft. You are incorrect that TW's driver is closed. His driver is 2.75° open and measures 11.5 while open. At impact, when the face is square, his driver measures 8.5°. I don't know how else to explain it....

Watching a round or two of Tiger's shows there's no way he plays any club with a remotely closed face. The guy hates to hit it left. Interesting to see exactly how open, though.

I know the screen shot said +2 3/2 for face angle so take from that what you will. What you did there was funny though. "He hates hitting it left." You hear it on the TV too... "Tiger hates making bogeys" so my question is does anyone like those things?

Other way around, he needs the 11.25* head because he plays it a little over 2* open which brings the effective loft of the 11.25 down to his 8.5...opening driver face angle decreases loft, closing the face increases...I know it's the opposite of what common sense would lead us to believe but it's the truth
