C taper regular shafts

I have an average swing speed around 100 with a driver and hit he ball high with everything. I am looking into trying th c tapers in a regular shaft in some new irons to keep the trajectory down . The only c tapers I've been able to try was some stiffs in tha Adams CMB's which felt a little stiff to me. I was hitting the 6 iron about 165 with a trajectory of around 20 degrees which Is probably higher than normal. Has anyone tried the C tapers in a regular flex? I was thinking of getting these put in a set of Callaway x hot irons.

My driver swing speed is consistently 95 mph. I am a 5 handicapper and play C-taper Reg flex in my Mizzy 64/69 combos ... and couldn't be happier. Mid-low trajectory with low spin. Very smooth feeling and easy to control.

I have thought about this as well as I don't have an aggressive move toward the ball, but I still hit my 7-iron about 165-170. My only concern is that the C-Taper regulars are pretty light at 110g. That might cause me some issues with the left side of the green. I'm thinking of SS a set of DGS300 into a set of CMB heads and see what happens

I don't know about the regular flex but I can certainly recomend the R+ @ 115 grams as being buttery smooth for me. I'm guessing my SS at the middle 90's.
I use some stiff flex and some regular in my other clubs. And I have a quick swing that hits the ball high. They added a couple SW points to my i5's but I love the feel.

If your looking to keep the weight up I'd suggest trying a set of 'S' C-tapers and soft stepping 1X or even 2X to get the FCM you want...S's soft stepped 2X ~ 5.6 FCM.
