Richmond was a lot of fun. I played horribly. The I ly thing that slightly saved me was my chipping and putting. I was putting great. Other than that it was a pretty bad ball striking round. Lots o fun. Nice course. It was the first time I play it.

I also signed up for Triggs. I'm thinking about playing at Crystal also. I just need to check the schedule and see if I can fit it in. It's a short course only like 5,800 yards so it should be a pretty fun round if everyone shoots well.

These are such low stress and fun rounds it dont even feel like tournement type golf.Everyone I have played with have been real nice an laid back just seems like another round of golf.You should enjoy it alot.

Hey I'm the guy Ken referenced. I'm in the B division as I'm a 15.4. If you are a 14 then you will actually be on the A division. A is up to 14.9 and B is anything highe than 15.0. Also we play 90% handicap nap if you're calculating your course handicap to be over 15... Don't.

Also if there's not a big field of people they will eliminate he B division and everyone plays together for the day. Not a Bo deal as its all handicapped anyway. The only diff is you get entered in for the stroke play. Good luck. In playing triggs also. So hopefully we get a big turnout and we can get a good Net B division showing.

Yeah that's what I thought too. But I emailed Brian and he said they chnged A div to 13 and under

I don't care I will have a blast anyhow. And like you said it is all handicapped anyhow!

Looking forward to seeing you at triggs (still waiting for the wife to see if she can switch her shift) if I had the earliest tee time it would en tight getting home for her to go to work

You need the earliest tee time or you don't? If you want to be the first tee time, just request to be pairs with Ken and I. For some reason every time we've played we are given the first tee time haha.

I just signed up two weeks ago. I haven't registered for any of the tourney's yet but I'm sure I will run into you guys there. I don't have a GHIN so I'm not sure how that plays into it all, but I am around a 14 and looking forward to trying different courses. It sounds like a good time.

I heard that, but they said that I could place side bets based on low gross until a HC is established. Either way is fine, I am just looking to play a bit in a tournament atmosphere. I see you are from RI, where are you in relation to Providence? I live right on the Attleboro MA line.

And even w requesting an early tee time at triggs. It will be too close unless the wife switches to a later shift.

Especially assuming a 5 hour round

I live in East Providence right now. But I should be moving to North Providence sometime in the near future. Whenever the fools at the bank finish the paperwork on the house I'm buying.

Well if today was any indication of how gonna play Monday.... I'm screwed lol!!

I was hitting it very well just couldn't get accurate enough for te course I was playing (wentworth hills)

I lost 8 balls and cost me 16 strokes yikes!!!

Round one of the two day at the ranch in the books started out real strong with a 42 at the turn. But the back... if anytging... when in a hazard, and I KNOW THIS... take. The. Drop. Took me 4 shots to get out of one on a par 5. And put an 11 on the card when all was said and done. Tomorrow is anotger day.

That's odd. But I have to play is net B. if we have the same index how come you are in net A?

Very nice to meet kC. And mixed emotions of this tourney

1) I could only play mine holes. My son has a high grade fever 104.8 and had to WD to get him to a hospital.
2) I was playing very well (I think I was in first after 9) I had three pars, all net birdies. I was at 29 with two holes to play then got the call about my son. And it took me right out of it. Getting two 8's
3) I played w a guy who straight up said he could care less it was a tournament. He pressured us to pickup if we were a stablefored zero. And was complaining why we were playing so slowly. He also didn't follow course rules. He hit from inside conservation areas. And would comment. Eh I don't care I'm playing for fun. He made rude comments like after my cart partner hit his second tee shot into the woods. He said. Hey just out your 7 down and move on.

He made it not fun at all. I wish I could play in the net A.

Who was the guy you played with? I can't stand stuff like that. I think I would have played just that much slower just in spite of him.
