A Testament to the Work of Tom Slighter

This is a Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless that belonged to a friend of mine and was left in my car. So, to surprise him, I sent it off to Mr. Tom Slighter in pretty rough shape, as can be viewed in the pics below. Had it refinished and some customization done. I was completely astonished at how well it came out. Take a look at the before and after pics below. Mr. Slighter's work is simply impressive and worth the money necessary to do the work. Also, if you are interested, he will make you custom ballmarkers that are pretty sweet as well. Check out the ones below.

incredible job.. tom also did a great job with restoring an old carbon steel sonoma I had. love that matching marker, I should have asked him to do the same for me! next time..

Slighter did one heck of a job! Do you have any idea how much headweight was removed?

It was a pretty hot mess before the magic was done - so I would venture to say that Tom could make nearly any putter look like new or better.

Just did a weld job on it, then had the satin finish applied over it. I had no idea how he was going to be able to do it, but he got it done and looking brand new again!

To my knowledge, the head weight remained pretty much the same after the weld job and satin finish re-application. The weight was my main concern when I sent it to him, but he told me not to worry. That he would get it as close to what it was as possible.

Yeah. He did the matching ball marker with the "Skull and Crossbones" on both sides for a little bit extra charge. Uses his milling machine to cut the ballmarker out of carbon steel I believe. Pretty sweet. Give him a shout if you are serious about one. He did one for me as well which he personalized for me!

Slighter is definitely tops when it comes to restorations and modification work. You can tell he really cares and loves what he does. The before and after photos are all you really need!
