That could be an option, when is the Black SUnday event? Is it 20 on top of the green fee or 20 outright? What does all the other people who have answered here think about this? My only issue is that I don't have an actual hdcp at this time, but avg in the mid 90s so that puts me at about a 20? maybe? haha

It's $20 on top of green fees, but green fees are around $35 w/ a cart. If this is an option, or one for a later date, I will touch base with our Pro to work out a special for us. I would love to get our course exposure...it's a real unknown gem.

Strick, no I haven't played it, but retired Bubblehead from Charleston here and have been meaning to venture down your way to give it a go. Have heard nothing but good things about it and for the price may be the best deal in the state.

I might be able to do 10/13 if you guys don't mind me shaking off a bit of rust. I really like HH National...used to play there and Old South a lot when I lived in Bluffton (over in Beaufort now).

Definitely want to get to Parris Island soon, too.

Gents:

Didn't want anyone to think I was gaffing this off...just busy with work, grad school and volunteer time for our all-Marine and all Armed Forces tournament we're hosting.

I just PM'd Papa Johick to see if we have a confirmed date. Our course is in incredible shape right now and is only getting better. Greens are running about 12.5 this weekend...double cut and rolled for the tournament.

Just one caveat if we do want to play my course....I have to get some personal bio-data from anyone that is not a US citizen for approval....we kind of frown upon terrorist in the Marine Corps (LOL).

For those worried about costs....it will more than likely be the cheapest rate for anything around here, especially non-locals.

Is there anyway to get a list going of who wants to attend, other than the poll that reflects numbers.

I'm really not sure about how to get a list going unless everyone comes back to this Thread and literally posts that they are in and number of people. Majority says Oct. 13 (I know small majority but still majority), which I think if we had the date set we would find out a good true number for people.

So October 13th is the date. Post if your are/can come and if you are bringing any one.
