Create a Golo Versa

So, I really like the look of my Versa #7, but I have struggled with distance control with the insert. I also really like the feel of the Golo. My question is how I can create a combination of the two. I did a little mock-up of what I am thinking (sorry, photo editing is not my thing). Any thoughts on how I can accomplish this. I was thinking automotive pin striping or one of the 3M automotive products? Only think that worries me there is the design of the putter and can i make a straight line. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

you could mask off the spot in the cavity where the alignment line is. Make sure you make its square so measure and be sure! Be sure the distance from the toe to the white is the same as the heel. Now finding a finish/paint thats durable without having to strip the metal is going to be hard. You could always go the spray method..

You could always use a laser level to project the straight line on the irregular flange. It could be really helpful taping it off to check that you are perfectly (or as close to) straight!

I have a golo i want to customize as well. does anyone know if you can simply take the "black" finish off? I saw a thread that you can do this to the honey dipped california line to reveal silver stainless beneath. I would really love to do that with the golo....

That's the way to go... tape off all the parts you want to remain black, then bead/glass blast it.

You would end up with the exact look above, only the stripe would be raw stainless, instead of white. That would look pretty darn good!
